I wonder if Genesis will fight Sephiroth in an upcoming game, a rematch of the Training Room fight but much more serious. Genesis's "nothing shall forestall my return" while the camera is on Sephiroth sure gave it a heavy feeling of foreshadowing. Maybe Genesis sacrifices himself to save the world from Sephiroth? It would go decently well with some parts of Loveless. Or maybe they fuse to create a two-winged superboss!... Ok hahaha now I'm just talking crazy... Right? o.O

Genesis is my favourite character! when I saw this video for the first time I was shocked! I thaught: "WTF! Genesis is still alive! FFVII story isn't complete! Thumbs up if you agree that Square-enix should give a worthy final chapter to this awesome game!!!
@Rikodou99 According to some articles they plan on making one final installment to the FFVII story, and I'll bet Genesis has a part to play in it, especially after this scene.
@KidRevan There have been rumors about them making ONE more game for the series, though whether we know it's actually a game and not a movie, we don't know still :C. Be sure though to know that it's obvious that they WILL make another one, why else would they leave such a huge ass cliff hanger lol :D

He would defend the world in place of Angeal and Sephiroth being gone.
I like how people are retarded, "OH! Hey that's Sephiroth's wing!" or "Another guy with a wing?!". If those people would just play Crisis Core they'd understand that Genesis Rhapsodos, SOLDIER 1st Class, was the first one to have the black wing. NOTE: Sephiroth's wing is on the right and is left handed, Genesis' wing is on the left and is right handed. He also sealed himself away after Deepground asked him to rule DG. Refusing, Genesis sealed himself away for "When the world needs him the most".

@theiVIRUS1 Dude,Dirge of Cerberus came out before Crisis Core so thats why The Genesis from Dirge of Cerberus is not as "sexy" as the one in Crisis Core.They must of redesigned Genesis to make him look more "sexy"
@MultiKen18 story line wise crisis core came before dirge of cerberus *of course* as far as voice acting you cant go by japanese voice actors,only the english..there is an english version on youtube and as far as design goes there is a diffrence bettween FMV and in game scenes,there is only this scene here from dirge of cerberus of genesis which is FMV but many in CC of him as game scenes and FMVgo so cant really go by that either

I think it's awesome they chose to do live-action with Gackt. Such devotion to the franchise.

@Apentogo That is Genesis's japanese voice actor, Gackt, doing motion capture for this secret ending. I hate the english voice too, the voice from Crisis Core was waaaayy better. Hey guys, check out Gackt's Diabolos tour, he rides in, yes rides as in horse, in the very exact outfit he wears here, it's really cool!
@frynaut LOL, I thought I was the only one! I'm totally straight and I think Gackt is fucking awesome. He's a great artist, he's got an epically manly voice and his interviews make me choke with laughter.
The english voicing in this ending is so freaking weird. I like the voice in Crisis Core much better. But I think that there should be another game in the compilation where Cloud and the rest of the team have to take on Genesis. And a possible return of Sephiroth again.
@DartUchiha Earlier this month, Square Enix announced that they are going to work on a sequel whenever they finish their major projects. It'll be hard now because it's a 'meaty budget' due to the tsunami and Square losing over 2.5 billion yen.
@Jessssse102 hopefully the story will be a little bit better than this one. I think that Sephiroth should somehow become a good guy in a sequal. Like he finds out the truth about Jenova and learns of his real mother.
@ethang6 I also think that if they do remake the original PS1 game, they should hint to Genesis and Angeal. Like at the Nibelheim reactor Genesis shows up to fan Sephiroth's flame of insanity. I want a new game to have the old ATB battle system though. Real time battles are a little difficult in my opinion. That's why FFXII was so hard. FFXIII was good though.
@DartUchiha I agree they should hint to genesis and perhaps even weiss and nero if they do a remake. I do think the ATB battle system would suit the remake perfectly but if the make a sequel they should probaly do the real time battle system or people might find it dated.
@ethang6 I can kind of think of a way to mix in the battle system they used for Crisis Core. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it work to control all 3 characters. I don't know why but I think it would be cool to still keep Yuffie and Vincent as optional characters. I think it's just a very minor nostalgic effect. Though the safe combination was frustrating.
@DartUchiha I actually think that at one point in the sequal that Sephiroth realizes that Jenova is not actually his mother and has been using him for her own gain, and joins Cloud to take on Genesis and finish off Jenova. yeah I think that Jenova should be the final boss because in truth she is the series' main antagonist. And I want a way that if Sephiroth comes back, the team uses that same method to revive Zack and Aerith.
@DartUchiha genesis would haveno reason to fight them because at the end of crisis core he regained his soldier honour and reversed the degradation and that was all he ever wanted he only attacked shinra becasue hollander claimed he could help him and hollander wanted to bring down shinra but his voice in the english version of this scene made it seem like he was some deranged serial killer and added to that the black wing and the water turning black around him
@MrWanagethigh I don't know what Nero and Weiss did to him but it may have warped his mind. And I don't know why he still has his wing. I've never actually gotten to play Dirge of Cerberus. Only cause I keep hearing that it was as awful as FFX-2. But I think that I might get it so that I can see the story.
@DartUchiha i heard nothing but good things about X-2 but iv never played it and dirge is a third person shooter the japanese version was apparently terrible but they changed it for the north american and i thought it was alright but it was more for the story than the gameplay although the customization was pretty good

@DartUchiha Well, Genesis was supposed to have mended his ways because of Zack. If anything does happen, I think it would be that Genesis does something that seems bad at first but turns out to be good. Misguided tactics for saving the world.
@Taaalm that's why I believe his mind may have been altered by experiments done to him by Hojo. Remember at the end of Crisis Core, Nero and Weiss took Genesis, and at that time they were taking orders from Hojo. So it's possible that Hojo could have made him forget about his honor.
@DartUchiha The G reports talk about him refusing to be a part of their schemes. He was in on them initially but changed his mind...Deepground was near founded off of his abilities.

Genesis is going to be the bad guy. He died bitter, and was turned down by the goddess. He is not going to be happy, and his wings are black still. Weiss and Nero fused, no telling if Rosso and Azul actually died, they don't talk about Argento the Silver in the US version. This can go anywhere......=\ damn it! But I still want to play it.

I usually like the English dubs better than the Japanese. But in this scene, seriously, I don't care if I don't understand, Genesis' Japanese voice for this scene is sooo much better than the English equivolent. His voice was done well in CC, but in the English version of this scene, Genesis' voice has strangely changed both accent and pitch and morphed into some Spanish characature

@Apentogo That is Genesis's japanese voice actor, Gackt, doing motion capture for this secret ending. I hate the english voice too, the voice from Crisis Core was waaaayy better. Hey guys, check out Gackt's Diabolos tour, he rides in, yes rides as in horse, in the very exact outfit he wears here, it's really cool!

The english voicing in this ending is so freaking weird. I like the voice in Crisis Core much better. But I think that there should be another game in the compilation where Cloud and the rest of the team have to take on Genesis. And a possible return of Sephiroth again.

@DartUchiha Earlier this month, Square Enix announced that they are going to work on a sequel whenever they finish their major projects. It'll be hard now because it's a 'meaty budget' due to the tsunami and Square losing over 2.5 billion yen.

@ethang6 I also think that if they do remake the original PS1 game, they should hint to Genesis and Angeal. Like at the Nibelheim reactor Genesis shows up to fan Sephiroth's flame of insanity. I want a new game to have the old ATB battle system though. Real time battles are a little difficult in my opinion. That's why FFXII was so hard. FFXIII was good though.

@DartUchiha I agree they should hint to genesis and perhaps even weiss and nero if they do a remake. I do think the ATB battle system would suit the remake perfectly but if the make a sequel they should probaly do the real time battle system or people might find it dated.

@ethang6 I can kind of think of a way to mix in the battle system they used for Crisis Core. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it work to control all 3 characters. I don't know why but I think it would be cool to still keep Yuffie and Vincent as optional characters. I think it's just a very minor nostalgic effect. Though the safe combination was frustrating.

@DartUchiha I actually think that at one point in the sequal that Sephiroth realizes that Jenova is not actually his mother and has been using him for her own gain, and joins Cloud to take on Genesis and finish off Jenova. yeah I think that Jenova should be the final boss because in truth she is the series' main antagonist. And I want a way that if Sephiroth comes back, the team uses that same method to revive Zack and Aerith.

@DartUchiha genesis would haveno reason to fight them because at the end of crisis core he regained his soldier honour and reversed the degradation and that was all he ever wanted he only attacked shinra becasue hollander claimed he could help him and hollander wanted to bring down shinra but his voice in the english version of this scene made it seem like he was some deranged serial killer and added to that the black wing and the water turning black around him

Only cause I keep hearing that it was as awful as FFX-2. But I think that I might get it so that I can see the story.

@DartUchiha i heard nothing but good things about X-2 but iv never played it and dirge is a third person shooter the japanese version was apparently terrible but they changed it for the north american and i thought it was alright but it was more for the story than the gameplay although the customization was pretty good

@DartUchiha once again sorry about the multiple posts but genesis still has the wing cuz he still has jenova cells its just the degradation that got healed in crisis core as the jenova cells were implanted in him before birth same as sephiroth so they are part of him unlike regualr soldier members who get injected with them when they join soldier

@MrWanagethigh it seems after deeper research into the subject of genesis that accourding to crisis core *which i had not seen before and i guess is only viewable by doing a side quest of sorts* it seems the G project was to inject a fetus with the jenova cells *not just project S-sephiroth or A-angeal* accourding also to crisis core Genesis needed jenvoa sell to stop the decay *as why he took zacks hair* this made no sence to me and needs further looking into but yes i was wrong about it :)

@Taaalm that's why I believe his mind may have been altered by experiments done to him by Hojo. Remember at the end of Crisis Core, Nero and Weiss took Genesis, and at that time they were taking orders from Hojo. So it's possible that Hojo could have made him forget about his honor.

alright first things first its Genesis, secound at the end of crisis Core Genesis din't seem so hateful anymore he just seem fucking confused. But I never played Doc and don't want too, But if they do make a new game no matter what it should just be a remake of ff7. also most likely Genesis will be looking to gain the power Sephiroth Had. Sephiroth comes back kills genesis looks over at cloud and says "why do we keep meeting like this" he raises his sword the music starts and cloud pisseshimself

Genesis is going to be the bad guy. He died bitter, and was turned down by the goddess. He is not going to be happy, and his wings are black still. Weiss and Nero fused, no telling if Rosso and Azul actually died, they don't talk about Argento the Silver in the US version. This can go anywhere......=\ damn it! But I still want to play it.

I usually like the English dubs better than the Japanese. But in this scene, seriously, I don't care if I don't understand, Genesis' Japanese voice for this scene is sooo much better than the English equivolent. His voice was done well in CC, but in the English version of this scene, Genesis' voice has strangely changed both accent and pitch and morphed into some Spanish characature

@Natu133 After. Since Dirge of Cerberus happens a few years after the events of FFVII and FFVII takes place AFTER Crisis Core, that should answer it for you. Hope that helped.
