Baltimora gives me so many good memories from de past. In Spain they were quite popular at that time. Everybody says that de Maurizio Bassi was the guy who sang all the songs, while Jimmy mcShane did the playbacking. What I don't understand is, how Maurizio could sang these songs in English that well. I don't hear any Italian accent! Can anybody explain that?
Watda. There's already thin samsung and sony bravia led and oled tv in the eighties! This is time warp, man! Paris Hilton incoming. Run for your lives.==tbc==....
The blonde guy with the glasses, who was known as Jimmy "Ruby" McShane, was not the actual singer. He was an Irish dancer who lip-synched in all of Baltimora's performances and videos a la Milli Vanilli. The real singer was Italian producer Maurizio Bassi, who did much of the music for Baltimora.
Ahh..that actually makes sense...This may sound weird but i find that the voice does not really "match" the guy, in my opinion he seems a little too young and too "twinkish" for that type of voice.
Dude, if i had a job like that where u could dance, have fun n have cute guys around like Baltimora (r.i.p), i couldn't wait to get up n go to it!! 80's, WE MISS U!!!!!
same here! that would be an awesome job! and i wish there could be another decade like the 80s. this decade is so crappy and fake. i feel like my generation got cheated. oh well, at least it's almost over. maybe the next decade will be better.
I'm back watching and listening to song! Still its an awesome song, I believe if this was released internationally, it will top the chart even in the US. The video as well is excellent! Bravo!!!
Here in the Philippines,I don't remember if it was aired among radio station, only Tarzan Boy. This is a hit bash I bet if it was being played well and internationally promoted well. I believe this song only played in his country.
Tenia muchisimos años de no escuchar esta cancion, me desquitare escuchandola unas 30 veces en la semana. Mejor que tarzan boy. Nunca habia visto el video.
I would've loved to be that girl. I read a story online by someone claiming to be Jims child. I spoke to a personal friend on here & he claimed that Jim did have one sexual encounter with a woman. It's very strange.
Yes to my knowledge that this friend who went simply by "G" told me. He said Jim was indeed gay. I spoke to Dee D. Jackson (she sang Automatic Lover, Meteor Man etc) & she told me that Jim was in Italy when he contracted HIV. He had been living with a boyfriend, went on tour in the US & when he returned the boyfriend was dead & the house was boarded up. Jim most likely contracted HIV from him. He went for one test & it was negative. He went for another 6 months later & it was positive.
Yes it is. I personally love Jim & it kills me to think that he was so flamboyant & wasn't careful enough. If only he had been more cautious he might still be alive today. But he was just living life the way he wanted & did what made him happy. I guess we really can't be too mad at him.
Wow, that's 3:29 of my life that I can't get back. I am ashamed that I liked this band so much. I'm not saying this to be a jerk, just how I feel. I wish I had ever only heard Tarzan Boy and never saw any of the videos. I would have so much more respect for the band. That being said, it is fun to see these funny videos on here. That is the charm of youtube.
yo tambien quisiera regresa a esa epoca, quien sabe de aca a 40 años inventan la maquina del tiempo y se pueda regresar a los 80s para quedarme ahi jeje...
Looks like, Im tying this song to my No. 1 list of favorites to Take on Me by Aha..I dont know why I began to like this song. It hypnotize me. Love playing it over and over and watch it...
Que buenos recuerdos de comienzos de 1986. Lástima que él muriera tan joven. Pudo haber tenido una carrera bien larga y exitosa como su comienzo. Gracias por subir este video !!!
