Personally, I think that God (laughs) is happy because were not focus on the bad things(quicksand) that surrounds us. instead, were busy living (making plans)

God is happy only when everyone of us is saved after avoiding sins and what each of us has done wrong in his or her lifetime but I don't think that He laughs, it's so ironic this way to say that God laughs, I'm sorry but God is so spirit and so SAINT, He can't laugh about what happened in this world

The quicksand means that we need to be careful, we make plans and we're too materialistic, and G-d laughs at us cos we're not realising He's the one in control and we need to be careful and grateful to Him for everything we have, and hope G-d doesn't let us sink in the quicksand. It's a beautiful song.

This is actually a very sad song, the lyrics are very meaningful.

She kinda sings it with a smile on her face though. Nothing wrong with that, im not having a go at her...its just shes a very positive person.
