  • check your blood pressure your sweating

  • OMG! Ya mean ta tell me I'm not the only person in the world with one eyebrow?Wonder if they called him Brow ?

  • How do you play an electric guitar without electricity??

  • @smokiebird06 I guess it's magic.Just like if you watch the guitar players.Notice that the hand doing the strumming doesn't always match the playing.Oh well.I guess they were to scared to try to do it live.Still one of my favorites after all these years.

  • Amazing picture quality. I've never seen video or film footage from the mid 60s so sharp! Looks like high def. Thanks nyrainbow

  • Can't beat a couple of cans of beer and abit of Billy J Kramer

  • Some people really have sick minds! This is a song about him dating a little girls big sister....Geez!

  • Andy Kaufman?

  • Still my nr. 1!!!

  • MsBoggins - There is a statue of Billy Fury at Albert Docks. Are you thinking of that or is there one of Billy J Kramer as well? I'll have a look for it next time I'm down if there is.

  • I like those songs about bratty little siblings. Does anyone remember the Lovin Spoonfuls song "Did you ever have to make up your mind?"

  • A song I've always liked. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience. I was at my girlfriend's house, trying to spend some time alone with her. However, her little sister wouldn't get lost.

  • Fond memories luv the 60's stuff thanks

  • where is billy j kramer now?

  • @MsBoggins Stood on the Liverpool waterfront at the Albert Dock! - in the form of a Bronze Statue!!!

  • @MsBoggins still performing in usa where he lives

  • @MsBoggins

    Still performing in USA

  • the song is about a guy who has a girlfriend but his girlfriend has to babysit for her mum and the kids are in the way

  • @1974rail - it's Jimmy "Now Then Now Then Now Then" Savile of Lux, R1, various Gold stations.

@OCPD and wimps - Mick sounds quite - er - restrained in this, but you can still hear a bit of menace, even in those single chops.

  • I remember when this one came out.I'm giving you 6 stars****** for it.Thank you for having it & for sharing it with us.

  • Really enjoy your sixties music, great film as well.

  • How on earth is the film in such good condition, colour as well, excellent post, magnifico.

  • at 01 was that jimmy sudvall from radio luxenburg?

  • great song

  • looks like a beatles gum card come to life 1964

  • Is that THE Mick Green with the Telecaster?

  • @OCPD - It certainly is - trademark head movement and all. RIP Mick

  • MEMORIES! How terrific to see this clip after 45 years! Very simple lyrics.....Those were the days!!

  • I am only 30 years old, and I love this music!!

  • @umfk26 You have good taste!

  • Best days of music ever.

  • if you're looking for slightly creepy lyrics try "Go away little girl" by Steve Lawrence or " Young Blood" by the Coasters.

  • @schnibbitz you want to talk about creepy (or just whacked) lyrics, let's talk about Eminem singing about slitting his wife's throat. Now, that's creepy!

  • @umfk26, ur right that IS creepy but outrage is rap's raison d'etre. Try Pat Campbell's "The Deal" - man whose wife is in difficult labour offers The Lord to trade his own life for wife and kid's. God says "OK" and he dies at bedside just as she delivers. And then there's Jimmy Cross's "I want my baby back" wherein a guy misses his deceased girl & digs her up - complete with shovel sound effects and the sound of a coffin lid being prised off B4 the triumphant chorus "I've got my baby back"

  • the lyrics are from a more innocent time, there are lots of songs from this era that have lyrics far worse than what you are reading into here, have you listened to neil sedakas happy birthday sweet sixteen, grooming is now illegal in this country

  • I was probably 10 years old when this song came out in the 60's. We didn't have a T.V. so I only remember this song from the radio, Now, 45 years later, I finally get to see the video! Thank you so much for posting this!!

    ♪♥♥♫

  • very different kind of song .... always enjoyed ... abuse song? .... you've have perverted thoughts, son!

  • I am 23 and I love this song!

  • What's with all the perv comments? What crap. This song reminds me of visiting a girl in my teens who had younger sibs that were always hanging around.

  • This is theme song for today's kids under age 40!

  • abuse song all the way like cousin kevin by the who

  • Billy J Kramer WITH the Dakotas.

Believe it or not, they were a dual act. Kramer and the Dakotas were under separate contracts!

  • always liked the simplicity of the song .... clean cut .... very memorable ... unlike todays music

  • This scene is from Pop Gear.

    But the props seen,

  • That's Mick Green on guitar...Mick Green of The Pirates. Must have been painful for him to back a crooner, given his rock roots. Money must have been good

  • @aliskally It would only sound disturbing to a disturbed mind IMO.

  • I love this kind of music !

It's my music life still now.
