Although he MEANT well, James Farmer still had an unwavering faith in the racist Amer govt Power structure.

Look at ALL the YouTube debates between he & Malcolm. Also listen to his call for "..a govt inquiry" into Malcolm's death.

Did he REALLY think the govt would actively work to solve the case?!?! This type of thinking plagues many in the movement.

A rapist will NEVER help someone that they intend on continuing to rape.

Yes, and history showed without government, the civil rights movement would have never been as successful. Govt isn't a static singular entity. It changes and evolves with the ebbs of time and people. Comparing it to rapist is a false analogy and really idiotic.

James Farmer was an amazing man. I am so pleased to be able to see him talk. You Tube is fantastic. I will show this to my high school students. The movie "The Great Debaters" is well worth watching.

Much of the troubles today may not even have a direction relationship with past policies, but present ones.
