  • So cute!

  • Do they like taking baths in cold water or warm water? Also, should I use filtered water instead of tap water?

  • yes so why didin't you not use shampoo?

  • is this a boy or a girl ?? i have one like this but i dont no if it is a girl or a boy plzz answer :) thanks

  • my lovebirds take a bath the same way. I didn't know this was alright for them to do since the bath is so small

  • Thanks for sharing your videos! Your lovebirds seem very happy and well adapted to the home that you've provided for them. Keep up the good work!

  • Beautiful colors.

  • That day was my birthday and the same day i got my lovebirds!

  • would it be a good idea to put a little tub in there full of water so they can take little baths? (budgies)

  • you know what i have the same one.and i always help her whenever she want to take her bath.i bath her like a real baby holding her use warm water and a baby shampoo.we did this atleast once every week especially now that summer.i always bring her to office and she love"s too

  • @sheryljaneful DO NOT EVER USE ANY BABY SHAMPOO!!! You will destroy the natural oils in the feathers and possibly the feathers themselves.

  • nov 2 is my bday omg well i have 2 lovebirds and they fight a lot and when i mean a lot i mean it they fight 24/7 and they can't trust me.I am doing my best and still it doesnt work. they bite and go wild when they are outside the cage. I got them when they were about weaned. What do I do?

  • My little lovebird get scared on every single thing!! I don't know how to start training him!! do you have any tips?

You have a very cute one ..

  • i have a question what should i do?

my lovebird baths in his own drinking water and he does it all the time,i refresh his water every hour but he doesnt stop bathing in it,he also poos in it

    help!

  • @j0rdy0 Yes, that's what birds do.

  • @stargazrt4 lol

  • @j0rdy0 the best way around that is to use a water bottle for drinking--you know...the kind that has a spout drip/feeder on it, and then only use bowls for bathing. however--BEWARE--bottle spouts can clog and birds have been known to die of dehydration if the bottle isn't checked every day!

another way is to provide a larger bowl for bathing and to encourage bathing in that large bowl, while putting only enough water in the drinking cup to get proper drinks, but hardly enough to bathe in.

  • @j0rdy0 You can train your bird to drink from a water bottle like what you give hamsters.

  • one of my lovebirds just died, RIP Tucker

  • I just Saw Evee's Beautiful Tail

  • Hmm, really nice, u really loe them and they love you^^ good:P i got imported two african lovebirds they arent tam but those kids are^^ they get 4 eggs in one year^^

  • i felt tht this video was very informative and im very glad ur lovebirds have a caring mother! plz continue loving them with tht enthusiasm

  • Haha so adorable!

My bird takes a bath in a big water holder thingie or takes a dip under running water.

  • My lovebird used to take a shower with me all the time, perched on my shoulder, lol. His nails definitely hurt my shoulder too!

  • so is mine!!

  • lol mine is chirpping to your birds haha

  • LOL I wish my lovebirds would do that. Instead they're spoiled and have me cup my hands under the faucet and take a bath that way.

  • how cool! hey look, i have a question, i have just got my very own 2 lovebirds. i i dont know whether they have layed any eggs yet! how will i get to know

  • If you see eggs...? o.O

  • before laying eggs the female will swell up, i mean she'll turn into a real cute fatty. about 2 days later the egg will pop out and it will be quite visible

  • they may not be a male and a female...if they're both males then they obviously won't mate. it's hard to tell which is which when buying them unless you have a dna test done by a vet.

  • how much is a lovebird cost? :D

  • Priceless!

    ~Rodney

  • In my cuntry Norway it costs 750 NOK for one.. thats like 93 $ (dollar)

  • My lovebirds take baths in their water dishes too but only when the water is fresh which means I have to replace it shortly after I replace it while they are drying off.

  • He looks just like my Spenser except in better feathering. Spense will normally only take a bath in a Tervis Tumbler. Too funny, my black masked will bathe in any water he can find.

    Deb

  • you should not put a reflecshon because it will get in love with the reflecshon and willl hate you shell be portectiff of her reflecshon

  • Thank you for your comment, but our lovebirds can tell the difference between a mirror and a real bird; so no worries.

  • no they weren't tame at all...

and later on i had found out they were 1 year old...

    but there tame now :D

  • i got my lovebirds for $18

  • surprising... were they as social and sweet and tame as ones like these?

  • K GRACIOSO TENGO UNO IGUAL

  • lovebirds are around 100-300 dollars

  • Yes if you get them from a reputable breeder who socializes them... :)

  • can you plis tell me how much was it plis plis plis i want to get 1 oh and where did u get it plis

  • We paid nothing for BeBe and Evee

  • my bird hates water

  • She looks so much like my Lovebird Zola! :)

  • You don't even know how much my lovie loves the chirping of your little one :)

Thanks for adorable videos on You Tube. I always enjoy watching them and your cute lovies.

  • your bird is lighter thought

  • I have the same water dish!!

  • OMG!! Your lovebird lookes alot like my bird!! See my vid.

  • did you buy that flower mirror in wal mart?? i have the same one !! for you people looking for toys to buy go to wal mart some of them cost about 88cents

  • I think we actually got that at Petco, but you are right about Walmart having them.

  • My bird never would wana take a bath in a shower he hate it but he luvs the kitchen sink and Rainbow my other lovebird loves to bathe in his waterbowl lol

  • This is just one of the options our birds have to bathe. We put bigger bowls on their playpens, they go in the shower with us, they have a spray bath, and will also take baths in saucers. Somehow, though, they still prefer BeBe's water bowl.

  • i think when u see ur bird wanting to take a bath give him a bowl thats big enof to fit him in it and not to deep so. Maybe he would get water on this back easier cause they put their head in the water and throw it onto their back and if i give my bird water that filled up his bath tub he doesnt step into the water he'd just rub his belly into the water so maybe u should try that and see wat ur bird likes better =)
