  • I like old and new AFI. They write what they feel. I know a lot of people really dont like the new sound. Davey was talking about that said that they are all in there 30s now, so they arent going to be like they used to.. it makes since to me. Music grows with age.

  • If a time machine is ever successfully built, the first place I'm going is to November 25, 2000 so I can be at this show. Just wow.

  • @Windmagician124

    Totally Argee!

  • great crowd

  • lyrics dont make a song emo, though theses lyrics are very emotional, and awesome

''now im on display, i am becoming!!!''

  • I kinda miss the hard core days. I never got to go to one of those shows, but I still wanta to support them at a modern one.

  • it sounds WAAY better live!!

  • Haha. Fuck iTunes.

  • The song is called "The Last Kiss". If you actually had the album you would know that "The Prayer Position" is the seventh song on the record; "The Last Kiss" is the tenth. This was when AFI wrote good music. They were untouchable then. I don't understand why they had to self-destruct and become a disposable band. Never would have thought it would happen, but they sound just like every other whiney screamo band out there.

  • @HaHaxIxWin damn you're an idiot.

No one, sound anything like AFI. And they havent deconstructed into anything, they changed over the years. Every album they make sounds a little different and has a new feel from the last, the only two that sounded the same were the first two.

im about fuckin sick of people bitchin over AFI when they dont know what the fuck they are talking about.

  • Buy the album(Actual CD), sir. :D

  • I remember downloading this video off Kazaa years ago. Bad ass.

  • East bay hardcore

  • there from ca

  • Obviously.. thats why i said EAST BAY!

  • This is the first song I ever heard of AFI, back in 1999 on the radio. Yeah, my radio station rocks

  • <333

  • 1:45=badd ass!!!! and i can't play it exactly with they guitar i have =( i would need a les paul, this was wen a.f.i. was at their absolute best....too bad no one knew about them back then

  • that is the easist thing to play

  • I have some bad ass pictures from this concert. I was super young and was getting my ass bet in the mosh pit. Good Time

  • i think they have always been emo it says in this song cut myself today its all for you, idk

  • emo is a genre, and refers to every aspect of the music, not just the lyrics.

  • afi is punk..not emo

  • was* punk

  • emo is emotional u fuck tards

so they cant make emotional music?

    go lick ass

  • like the solo

  • its not even a solo... its an interlude or bridge... once again... douchebag!

  • when i looked up the tabs for it, it said solo

  • well, congratulations, you're not the only idiot out there... good job!

  • THIS IS the CLASSIC AFI I miss. Now they sing a bunch of emo crap.

  • Whatever junior, this is not the emo stuff. Go back to listening to your decemberunderground cd because your knowledge of AFI spans Sing The Sorrow and December Underground. Now you're hardcore because you accidently ran across this video? LOL. Emo little bitch, go pop in your Fallout Boy cd, LOL.

  • i don't listen to fall out boy. they suck nuts

  • you're a douchebag... this was punk and long before the "emo-movement"... you lack knowlege in anything important... they should disable comments for idiots like you...

  • yea this is a goddamn good afi song

  • Afi remember me and remember you =D

  • Suck on my two inches txtmate16, ya cunt.

  • I got the art of drowning cd a couple years ago :)

  • can someone tell me 5 songs by AFI or different bands most similar to this -- i just love this song, so much emotion but it's all over the place... i am just kinda getting into whatever you'd classify this as... i always associated punk rock with "ska" which i am not really into... examples would be good, looking to expand my musical horizons

  • Um heres some AFI songs but you might not like the newer ones there much different

AFI - The Days Of The Phoenix

    AFI - Miss Murder (New)

AFI - Silver And Cold (New)

AFI - Of Greeting And Goodbyes

AFI - But Home Is Nowhere

    Heres some songs like AFI:

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade

    Offspring - Cant Repeat

    Sum41 - Fat Lip

  • Yeah, that's good if you don't want to listen to anything like this song.

A Single Second, Porphyria Cutanea Tarda, Halloween(originally by Misfits), Wester, Of Greetings and Goodbyes, and Days of the Phoenix(Last two he mentioned) are good songs by AFI that sound like this. Although I appreciate their newer stuff, don't confuse it with this.

Other good bands like them are Alkaline Trio, The Misfits(probably their biggest influence), and ... shit just look at Hardcore Punk and Horrorpunk.

  • old skool afi coming at you man..

    tight

i blame mtv for then getting into mainstream man

  • You're a cunt. Go die.

About the video, this is easily my favorite AFI song. Bar none. I've been a fan for over a decade and when I hear this song, it almost makes me forget about all of the 13 year old mall girls who listen to them now and tarnish their legacy... as if "Miss Murder hasn't done that enough. They're still great people, and I will continue to go see them whenever they're within 500 miles.

  • YOU ARE SHIT

  • thats mr. two-inch wonder to you

  • your just a stupid fucking piece of shit so do the world a favor and blow your brains out bitch boy!

  • I haven't seen this video in years.

  • This song means so much to me I can't even say, by the way was it really at 2am? If it was, sweet.

  • ahhhh, back in the day when AFI ruled Punk Rawk... then..... emo came out of some kids suicide note and the rest is pathetic, whiny, ugly hair-cut history

  • hell yea man AFI was awsome then! I'll admit i still like them a bit, but this shit was fucken great!

  • what solo? oh you mean the breakdown lol AFI owned at this period

  • that must have been right after or before they released the all hallows ep.

  • The date says 2000 so this must have been after they released "Art of Drowning"

  • dude this song has meant so much to me thank you!!

  • whats the song mean to you?

  • u are so lucky to have that footage of afi!

  • Comment removed

  • I downloaded this video back on WinMX around 2001. The version [I still have!] was crap in quality, great to see it here!

  • shit that song kick asses!!!

  • I love Jade's solo. This song is amazing.

  • BTW, anybody else feels like if one Mexican bnad has pretty much copied the chorus?

  • what?

  • Sweet video. Thanks for putting this up.

This song rocks...I listened to it on Black Sails like...10 mins ago and wanted to see it live...this rocks.
