@kylerocks666 yes there are books but the best bet is do what i did and order the oem book from dodge i cant remember where i got mine but i got lucky but mine is the full manul from 1990 it has 3 books with it and what are you haven ploblems with? taken the starter off?

i am thinking about intercooling my 2.5 with a coustom set up and i was wondering if i should have that hose clamp right before the throtle body

On the 2.5 na though, it got 27-29mpg average. I did however go to Vegas and got 36mpg with the CC set on the 2.5na. Never took a long trip on the 2.2 and it makes me wonder what it would get.

I miss my Shelby Z 2.2 and ES 2.5 Daytonas. Most comfortable front seats I ever sat it, handled incedible. Felt like you were going 30mph at 70mph, tons of rear space with flip down seats. The turbo 2.2 seriously got me 37mpg average!!! As in I always filled up at around 370 miles on the trip and could only stuff 10 gallons in the tank. Best mpg I ever had on any car.

I had a blue 1989 Daytona ES with T-Tops. This is only the second Daytona I have EVER SEEN with the T-Tops in it, must be an extremely rare option. Mine was beautiful, but was the most unreliable piece of doo-doo I ever owned. It was fun when it ran, though.

On a serious note... Beautiful Daytona! They are getting extremely rare nowadays! Especially the 1989 T-top Shelbys!

Sorry but I highly doubt that thing makes 300HP at the crank Probably more along the lines of 225-245 Looks REALLY good though Nice car-

I don't doubt the 300 HP claim. The 16v R/T's make 224 stock (net) and can be modded to make an easy, streetable 450hp. So 300 on an 8 valve engine is not unbelievable.

Could he be stretching the truth, yeah, but no way of knowing unless we see a chassis dyno video right?
