  • total amateur has no clue, theres a reason for food tv amateurs pretend to be pros here and live in a fantasy world

  • Your videos suck, why did you waste time making this one? how about explaining how to season the skillet, or explain how cast iron needs to be used on a lower setting than aluminum because it cooks hotter? also, using soap on cast iron is a no-no, the way to wash cast iron is scrap anything loose with a spatula, then scrub under hot running water with a stiff brush or green scratcher pad, dry immediately with towl and or by sitting on a burner on low, then rub down with oil or shortening.

  • can u also use a blow torch!,

  • can you use a bench grinder!!! , how about a saw!!! or a drill gunn!!!

  • Couldnt stop looking at that nose

  • I have been cleaning a few old cast iron pans lately, and am having trouble removing the "gray" from the cooking surface of the pan bottom. If I pour a little oil on the pan and then wipe with a paper towel, the towel turns a grayish color. Im not sure if this is a huge problem, maybe you know of a solution.

  • Try some steel wool, SOS pads. Anything on there should come off with a little elbow grease. It'll probably look a little shiny, you'll need to do a deep seasoning in the oven.
