Yes Geo my bad. I saw other videos from this same concert here on youtube and Gary is there alright just BEHIND Amy on guitar! And they do a nice duet together. That back up singer has glasses and Gary Never wore them at least on stage to my knowledge.
WOW. This brings back memories. I saw her in Detroit when she was in town with this tour. That's SMITTY (aka Michael W Smith with beard) doing piano and that's her first husband Gary Chapman next to her. The larger (ok BBW) of the back up singers had this dynamic voice and cut lose with some real hot stuff.
@gramps2matt I am sorry to tell you but, that is not Gary Chapman next to her, that guy is just one of her background singers, I just cannot remember his name. I am going to Google it and try to find out, I will let you know.
I remember riding in the car when I was a little girl and listening to this on cassette tape and begging my mama to rewind this song over and over again! lol Sweet memory! :)

The quality of this video is awful! It's the only video in my favorites that I literally have to sit and wait over 5 minutes to load and then it keeps stopping. Does anyone out there have a better version??
What a perfect description of the man who is comfortable with the "entry level" part of God's marvelous plan of redemption, not realizing or maybe not caring to tear in to the meat of the Word but satisfing himself with milk and getting ever fatter. Come on baaaaby, throw some burger in that milk, suck some sirloin through that sippy cup; you can't make it on milk; come on, take a hold of that t-bone, belly up to that brisket you fat rascal; at least start drinkin' whole milk you 2% nippin'...
What a blast from the past! Thanks for posting this! I had no idea there was a video for this song. Not only was that Michael W. Smith playing the piano, wasn't that Gary Chapman in the wild hair and shirt singning backup next to Amy? Yikes!
This is such a funny song, and I love the video. The idea behind the lyrics is some Christians never mature. They just get fed once a week at church but never grow. I haven't heard this song in a long, long, time! Thanks for putting this one on.
may be the 2 people who disliked the video are just 2 fat little baby's.... just kidding

I do believe I saw her do this on the old "Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." She was very cute back then.

Fat Baby is meant to be a christian that can't live for God. A Christian that makes excuses.
