In a few of the mortal Kombat stories there was 2 sub-zeros. One was the evil older brother and the younger was the one that was good. I still don't understand is the evil one smoke? All I know is they all have their own history. Question I have is why and how did scorpion die? I know that Kung Lao killed him, but why? In a tournament?

I got goose chills the first time I saw this with Smoke appearing at the end. What most people don't get about the show is it's a mirror of the game but it follows as a prequel to the movie. And there were different writers in the future games who never looked at Conquest which is why in Deception Noob ended up being the original Sub-Zero. There's similarities but this Sub-Zero is obviously just an ancestor. Who Smoke is in this series is obviously not the same Smoke we know in the games.

(the 1st Sub Zero got killed by Scorpion and then he got resurrected and changed his name to Noob Saibot!) umm.. I think they messed up the story a little on this!
