Im from england and the cabinet was very different like instead of Rambos face next to the title there were two flashing gun barrels at each side and a helicopter behind the M on the title. the guns were also black and made sound effects

I got to have a go on the Deluxe version in my local Bowling Alley/Arcade the other day and it was f***ing awesome! The only gripe I had was once I was done, because the big ass light gun shakes so much I had pins and needles in my hands, but other than that the game was badass

This Rambo Arcade is missing a few things. First Blood levels and that huge Russian guy from Rambo 3 (from the caves). And don't forget, that Muay-Thai fighter. That would be awesome to have those kind of levels. Perhaps as bonus levels. :) 2 Special Bonus Bosses from Rambo 3. An army of cops and soldiers from First Blood, plus running, hiding, and setting traps. I think First Blood would be the hardest bonus mission. These bonus levels would most likely be hand-to-hand combat. :)

@Grooveraider It should be coming soon enough. I'm waiting for it too. It would be huge disappointment if it didn't because there really isn't a reason why it can come to ps3 and 360. (but 360 really doesn't have anything that can be used as a gun so it isn't likely that it would be released for 360. sorry)

@regionfree1 Yeah your right, I didn't think of that but it would probably also be extremely expensive and that would probably be a turn off for most casual customers that don't have much experience with light gun games in the first place, so they would probably just glance over the game, see the price, and just turn away. It probably wouldn't make enough money to continue selling the bundle for a decent amount of time. To be even semi popular it would have to be heavily marketed.

Yeah, it'll be a hell of a long time before we see a mame version. The next best thing is a port to either the pc, or any of the 3 consoles.

This game is very difficult if you don't use your rage properly, it is usually impossible to beat the 'Cancel' Sequences with normal bullets =/

Just played this today & it's a pretty good game to play. I completed the game along with some random boy, even though I wasn't keen for a 2nd player to help me. The boy was ratshit at playing this & I got more medals than him. Love to play this again but this time on my own!!

Timezone in Pondok Indah Mall has the Ghost Squad variant, but not the one with the special gun casing and gold paintjob.

One thing I love about this game is the original tracks, like the boss theme. Too bad I can't listen to it well enough to get a full say. :/

If you listen closely when you activate Maximum Rage, the machine says "Maximum Rage!" followed by Rambo's roar from Rambo Part 2.

SEGA should consider making the light gun modeled after an M60A1 rather than some tactical smg for the game, that would of course give the true rambo feel to it

The best part hold the gun properly by your shoulder so that the circle mark just in front of your eyes.. may be army brat will know. and the other hand in the front ready to just cover the sensor and lift down again.. so reloading will be so fast..

Make sure in stage 5

in first screened big battle you take out the right man by the truck first as he will shoot to you ASAP so beware.

The 2nd big battle shoot the top left and right enemy first then the middle

The 3rd big battle do it the same but very quickly

before two moving trucks shoot the hell out of you remember in previous screen battle to take max rage.. because after the two truck that moving there is 2 moving vehicle if you dont take rage you DEFINETLY get damage

You can finish in 1 credit.. Look hidden barrel that are have extra live in it and also max rage.. every stage has it..

Stage 1 = 1 bonus life

Stage 2 = 1 bonus life

Stage 3 = 2 Bonus life

This is important to fight the tank.

Stage 4 = 2 Bonus life

This is important to fight the stage where the bullet are fast coming.

Remember always use Rage when necessary.. and try to fire first normally.. then rage when the bullet about to finish.

hey I'm stuck on the bit where rambo is fighting some guy in the helicopter after a explosive barroal drops down in the water fall, what do I need to do to defeat that boss as I don't get time to read instructions when I play

Are you talking about the fight scene? There are red targets that appear during that scene. You can find those near the boss' body. Spot them VERY QUICKLY because you have very little time to shoot them. Those red targets appear four times or so.

When you do succeed in shooting all of those targets, you'll be asked to whack at the Start Button until a bar fills up.

Remeber to be very fast in spotting and shooting. Good luck doing all those though...

Wii would make the most sense. A far safer bet as they don't need to bundle a costly lightgun...just sell it as is or bundle with a simple plastic shell for the Wiimote.

I played this game yesterday. Awesome. I played it for 2 hours straight until I got tired of it. haha. I even played with both guns at the same time. Rambo style. lol..you only live once damn it.

I'm surprised that they didn't add anything from the 4th movie into this one, it seems a little strange not to. But either way from what I played it was a lot of fun and honestly if it stays arcade exclusive for a while that would be best - it's not like EVERY good arcade game needs to come to consoles. ;)

@theatarian -I'm also surprise they didn't add the first movie(First Blood) to have Rambo go against Teasle played by Brian Dennehy as that would been great. I only see part II and III in this arcade game. I enjoyed playing this arcade game and hoping this will be on the console (PC, XBOX, and Playstations).

@rxdelatorre74 I agree 100%percent,sega could still be kicking ass in video game sales and on the charts,but for some reason it takes them for ever too port their arcade smash hit games to consoles, i your comment about rambo first blood was perfect,i would like to see rambo battle the sheriff and the small town cops as well as the national guard, perhaps they could add that to a console versions,if comes out on consoles.
