  • Really Clear.

  • Reminds me of blood in blood out :)

  • Great track. The dislikers should be shot.

  • oh, fuck yeah. The older I get the more I love this. The instrumental on here is killer.

  • @MsThebeMoon Same here

  • this is fantastic...i just love it...in my soul. |]

  • I actually love this type of variety of music way better than our new generation :)

  • @MissSassy1027 wouldnt be that extreme but i do enjoy this music just as much =)

  • Now that is HQ and I enjoyed this blast from the past. Crank it up!!!!!!

  • Great post. You can't beat a good turntable/amp combination. It is so clean and crisp, even hearing it through my cheap made computer speakers. I have listened to some of the guitar covers of this on youtube. No one even comes close to Ernie Isley. It's not just his picking skill, but his timing is amazing. I think one of the top 5 guitar players ever, if not top one.

  • I'm high.

  • Jimi Hendrix did play with the Isley Brothers and there was an older version of this song that came out in 1964,but this version(1973) has Ernie Isley who was influenced by Jimi playing guitar.

  • people may disagree & no disrespect to the late, great Curtis Mayfield but THIS is the hottest effing guitar in all 70's funk & soul EVER! It's freaking insane!

  • jimi hendrix was so great on this one

  • VINYL KICKS ASS!!!

  • ahh.....the fuzz/phaser effect!! so funki, sooooooo smooth!!!

  • greatnessssssssss

  • started my day with an Isley lift-off..now in orbit. thx.

  • Thanks for actually filming the record spin. It means a LOT!!!

  • The 70's when a guy looked at a lady, admired her physique and her poise. The guy knew he had to come correct, because the sistah wasn't having any nonsense. Men stepped, women swayed, children played in the water of a busted fire hydrant, and the Isley brothers music was being blasted out of one of the neighbors houses down the street. You didn't have to know this neighbor, all you needed to know what that he/she was providing the summertime jam music that would forever become your memory.

  • @ethantheman512 you a poet man

  • blood in blood out hah

  • I can imagine a rock version of this

  • ♪♫♥²↑⁀⁀☼ ;-j

  • Ernie Isley smoked it on guitar!!

  • I'm 14 and love this

  • @MrCuculoco how did you know about this song?

  • Im so glad this video shows an actual record being played, these young kids think all music can only be gotten off itunes or YouTube. Love it.

  • Still an incredibly slammin' track!

  • Really good sounding recording of such a great tune...and that's some smokin' guitar! I remember they rarely played the long version on the radio in '73, so you didn't get to hear Ernie go nuts....

  • Awesome song.

What model is that turn table? Like that song. Why does that plater look like it has so many records on it.

  • Wow amazing song, the days when Music was something more than special! Guitar is phenomenal!

  • Great quality...thanx for putting it out there...

  • Absolutely the best! Thanks for posting it. :-)

  • funky hotdamn this groove is FUNkey

  • Man, give me 50s, 60s, and 70s R&B any day, played with real instruments instead of synths and sampling and soulless electronic beats.

  • thank you for posting this in such high quality.

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE CRUISING JAM.. N NEVER GET TIRED OF IT OLDIES FOR EVER... ;)

  • Puro fukin oldies puro chicano oldiez

  • Heard this shit in blood in blood out

  • @wirdook thats too bad because it was much better when it was actually in rotation in the 70s on the radio

  • Corporate america has what has happened to music in my opinion.

  • Whatever happened to such great music like this?

  • @joeyrocks2207 nothing... its always there... it will never leave us... :)

  • 'Da Funk! Now Part II pr.! Nice Post!

  • Best guitar playing I've heard.

  • this was my favourite song since i was a little boy when it came out early 70s. the guitar solo is the best ever. vinyl sounds so much better than digital, same for pictures too - film is much better than digital. thanks

  • Over 30 years later....and this still takes me there! Wow!

  • FANtastic. Had the album (on vinyl) in 1973. Ernie Isley rocks...before Prince did it!

  • Absolutely slammin' track that takes me back to 1973 and 5th grade. A perfect fusion of rock & soul accompanied by Ron's blazing vocals. 37 years later all I can say is, "wow"!

  • aww yeah, man I usually listen to hip hop but you cant pass up on the classics man!

  • ok , who are the two knuckleheads that don't like this tune?? Uh?

Oh, good memories , Guys & Dolls ,Belleville NJ, thanks for posting.

  • Smooth as butter... thanks to whomever keeps reminding people that there is classic jams like this form the 70's that will not be duplicated... ever... rock on...

  • excellent sound. very crisp!! LOVE IT !!!!

  • excellent sound. very crisp!! LOVE IT !!!!

  • thanx for taking the time mang great upload love from Mexico City

  • @BestMusicExpert: obviously you definitely have credibility and taste of good music by your earlier comment on Ernie Isley's guitar solo, but I must respectfully disagree with you on the seals & croft version of summer breeze! They did it ok but it just ain't got that SOUL and Ronald Isley's vocals blows them off the planet!! To compare the two? I just can't do that because the Isley's version is just iconic!!!

  • Fuuuuuuuun-ky! Chickawahwah...thanks for posting!

  • la cancion que sale en la pelicula de sangre por sanre en la fiesta de cruz jaja

    muy buena cancion :D

    blood in blood out

  • One of the greatest guitar solo jams in ALL of funk/soul music EVER!

  • @BestMusicExpert True, but the summer breeze solo goes harder!!!

  • @bellafante1 Yeah, but even though its good, I like Seals & Crofts original version. The guitar solo then seems out of place on their cover.

  • it's from Blood in blood out ;p

  • @radiyaA1 that movie is tha shit

  • Marvin Isley R.I.P and thanks for the memories

  • Great tune. Thanks for posting this..and on a Technics turntable! ; )

  • used in the latest SWIFFER dust mop commercial...like the song, but don't like the commercial.. it's dumb !

  • That's it ... swaying somewhere in the middle of the 70s ... it was sweet then and still is...gosh we were so lucky to have these marvelous tunes ... a lady from Budapest ...ha...ha

  • Awesome ♥

  • Sounds so much better than the rest! Was this from Vinyl?

  • I try to post using vinyl whenever I can. If I have to use CD or tape you'll just see VU meters. Glad to see many others are enjoying the tunes I'm able to get on the tube.

  • @pr1147 I have a lot of vintage vinyl but don't know how to do do it and only have a regular turntable....but there's lots of music not here ! what do you suggest for a non-techy vinyl person wanting to contribute?

  • @KP11520 yea way better

  • Thanks for this classic. Jim.

  • Great, great song, love it!!!!

    Five Stars

  • Jams to this day!... thank you for posting thin beautiful jaaaamzzz
