I have tried this trick and realized that it creases a lot, and my friend who has tried this and has "puffs" around her eyes said it clumped up in that area even when thoroughly blended.

Thanks for the trick. Still, 'Summer Bisque' is discontinued now in France. Bare Minerals sorta replaced it with a light yellow powder (like the Bobbi Brown one) called 'Well rested'. I'm afraid the result isn't quite the same. I love 'Summer Bisque' better and now I'm back to square 1 with my dark circles. Any idea, Em?

CoverFX my fave concealor/corrector for undereyes, It has a Built in primer and doesnt crease. I still set it with MUFE HD Translucent powder. Its even better then my Eve Pearl, Erase Paste, and MAC concealors. LOVE COVERFX CONCEALOR!

I do this when I have blemishes, But not under eyes, I set my under eye concealor with MUFE HD. I like buffing in a lil Bare Minerals even over reg foundation if I need Full coverage.. THe Mineral Viel is great for settin concealor and puttin on ur LIDS after U PRIME, ur e/s will blend really well with that or any powder thats super soft like MUFE HD

@peacelovemakeup20 I have the E.l.f. Tone correcting Conclealer, I put that on first a good amount and then I put The Elf Transuclent Matifying powder on top and it works very well for me. The powder is 3 dollars (:. I hope this helped ( Sorry about the spelling).

I do something really similar, how funny. I have just a cheapy liquid concealer (not good at all) that I've been having to use. Then, from my E.L.F. bronzer ''quad'', I take a brush & swirl only on the lightest shade in the quad & set the concealer w/that. It also has some shimmer in it which I don't want my under eye area to be too shimmery, but that goes away after setting w/pwder & my face is completely done! Maybe I'll try this or an E.L.F. mineral line powder or something instead! =)

I've been doing this for about a year, and it works SO well. This powder is also really great for covering broken capillaries or redness. I use it on my nose where nothing else will stick. It really makes my concealer stay in place better than anything else I've tried, so I don't have any pinkish color creeping onto my nose by the afternoon. Love your videos!

Love your videos, Emily, but this is not a good solution for older skin with under eye fine lines. When my eye area is moisturized there are no noticeable wrinkles. When I use my EL advanced eye cream with Bobbi Brown corrector, again the wrinkles are not prominent. When I added this powder, the fine lines were so apparent that nothing but starting over would fix it. This product is going back to Sephora. Sorry!

just a tip for everybody. you should always do your concealer first if your using a liquid foundation. never put any kind of liquid foundation right up under your eyes or on your eyelids. because of the spf in the liquid foundation it actually runs into your eyes and stings and can do quite a bit of damage.

i have the Bare Minerals Veil, and i'm not sure if that would work. I have the Benefit Erase Paste as well, and I feel that it doesn't give me enough overage. Do you think that with the additional application of the Veil would give it more coverage?

@xaquariusjen the Mineral Veil is translucent - so I don't think you will see the coverage that Emily was talking about. The Summer Bisque color she is using is tinted or pigmented.

I also have been using this technique but instead of the Summer Bisque, I use the Well Rested. I'm not sure if it's a color corrector or just an under-eye concealer, but it is the best thing I've tried. I have low iron and it causes the blood to pool more easily under my eyes. No matter how much sleep I've gotten, it still looks like I have two shinners! This is a GREAT trick and I think it will help everyone!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under-Eye concealer works best for me, and I have hardcore under-eye circles, guys, like Blue Man galore. Emily really hasn't any under-eye circles. lol But I think that powder really is full coverage, though I'm not about to go pay $18 for an itty bitty thing of powder like that. Dior Airflash foundation works really for me, as well as the L'Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Powder. The latter covers sooooo well! Covers all of my redness, all of my acne, and it is very buildable.
