I'm pretty sure that's not possible though. I doubt the applications can somehow retrieve information off the iPods memory. If it could, there would be many iPod applications like that
Yes, you can mix a song which is played by the iTunes app with a song which is played by VirtualDeck. But if you want to perform solely with VirtualDeck, you'll need 2 iPhone/iPod touches and a mixer. Since the iPhone/touch has just one audio output there's no way to listen to a mix before you mix it in so the audience hears it, that's why there's only one virtual deck in VirtualDeck; there's no point in adding more. Please see the mixing demo on the mixing capabilities of VirtualDeck.

reboot your phone by holding the home and shutdown button at the same time until it shuts off. turn it back on and it should run fine
