Everyone's amazed at Apple's Siri but they didn't realise Windows Phone showed the same capabilities before it was released and that it is much faster than Siri.

@MrSeedyROM Siri has new capabilities and is slightly more accurate than TellMe. Siri shows a more friendly person with a personality but Windows Phone has a robotic personality.

Windows Phone is the better OS though

Yes that is exactly my point. In order to keep the os consistent they integrate the same design in every single aspect of the os. And i find this tiring. Look at the calendar app. Why does it have to be that way?What advantage does it get from the new look? Nothing, it is Just on par with the WP7 design. The calendar app of the 2007 iphone is more intuitive.

I may be mistaken though..

I think it's like it's trying too much.every app with the same design, the same fonts everywhere , swipe left for more etc. It could be very tiring. I love the tiles idea thought.

WP7 is a beautiful OS, I must say. Smooth, sexy and loaded with interesting and handy features. Of the 4 biggies (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, WP7), I think it offers the most engaging user experience.

Does the text to speech require an internet connection? My understanding of Android is that your speech is sent to Google's servers which do the translation and send the information back. Not very useful when you're not online. Not to mention wasteful of bandwidth.

My friend has wp7 and it really has no advantage over android. The only reason this platform is still valid is because of the manufacturer.  I'm not even fond of ios (which I've had for 2 years) and I prefer that over windows. Without microsoft investing heavily into wp7 this platform would just be an upstart and that's it. I've had my android phone for 2 1/2 years now and the experience just keeps on getting better and better.

However, after their recent conference, I've given up hope that Apple would speed up their development and catch up some day. They're only falling farther behind.

I have high hopes for Windows 8 and I think that if Microsoft can unite Windows 8 and WP7, they will make a huge leap forward and eventually catch up. However, that will take at least 2 years.

Catchup? Android is a laggy battery eating monster which need far more specs to run properly than ios, windows phone 7 or webOS. SGS2 is the only Android phone that runs smooth enough. I'd prefer WP7, IOS or the new N9 meego device, announced today.

I have one other question. I own the Samsung Focus by the way, purchased it back in October of last year, great phone. :)

Has the issue with volume adjustments been addressed? For instance, if I turn down the volume of the phone, it doesn't act independently, as it actually lowers the audible settings for other things that shouldn't be affected.

Music, ringtones, alarms, and call settings should have their own volume adjustments. Has this been fixed as well? Thanks. Overall, great review. :)

@vuhoangdung Microsoft gave it to me for testing. And it is 100% stable, though not feature-complete yet. I've not had a single crash in a week of constant use.
