  • love you too <3

  • Thank you so much for the great tutorial!!!! For those of you who are having trouble with the router's username and password, try holding down the reset button on the back of the router (use a peperclip) for 30 seconds. Give it a minute or two to reconnect, then try admin and password1. It worked for me!

  • when i go to dmz host is says pick a lan type

  • To get to The website if it does not Work reset your router on the back where the ports are until the lights on the router flash and go dead it should boot right back up then goto 192.168.1.1 on your internet search bar

Thumbs Up to help others with is problem

  • you wouldnt happen to have a reason why my 360 failed the ping test would you?

  • does opening it effect your router security?

  • Thanks man this is awesome! :)

You put a hella lot of work into this, thank you very much.

  • OHHMMYYYYGOODDD thank you so much

  • I have a Verizon router and everytime i try to acess the DMZ Host i get this DMZ Hosting is not available while configured for Routed IP WAN (Routed Bridge). What does this mean ad how can i fix his? Please Help my connecction is always 100% bt because of this goddamned NAT i'm always lagging.

  • thanks.. man.. i got it..

  • thanks so much dude. this video really helped me out...I <3 u!

  • this doesn't work atall, so you can suck my fucking dick you dumbass prick, disabled all my internet, can't unlock it EVER. Prepare to be fucking sued dumbass bitch. WARNING: DONT USE THIS VIDEO!

  • @Keithhoyle it worked for many of us dumbass, the fact that you are not able to follow written directions with screen shots means we should sue your parents for having you, and they should send you to a nut house immediately! Sue for what prick?

  • does anybody know how to do this if your connecting to xbox live with a laptop

  • FINALLY after all this searching! this was literally the last video i was gonna try and this one worked for me. thanks, this is beast.

  • thank you so much dude!!

  • OP if you could copy this into your description that would be great because its posted in reverse order

  • 5. delete all of the port forwardings that are not longer being used

    6. retry the network connection on your console (with all the settings set to auto) and my xbox automatically forwarded port 10053 for my xbox, the black one

Now both of our xbox's have open nat with no issues

    Hope this helps

  • Forget the DMZ stuff

    1. get the corresponding ip addresses of both xbox's

    2. go to firewall settings

    3. go to port forwarding

    4. Ctrl-F and search xbox

I found one port forward for 3074 that was for the white xbox but there were multiple other ports (you might find if you keep searching with ctrl-f), that were assigned to old ip addresses when I had an old xbox or when it was hooked up somewhere else in the house possibly.

  • This wasn't working for me but I got a fix that should help alot of people, OP if you could put this in your description that would be awesome

    Background Info:

    Verizon Fios

2 Xbox's (1 new black one, 1 original white one)

  • awesome it worked! :) but if the ip address is set to automatic on the xbox 360 wouldnt the ip address changed after a while? wouldnt it be better set to manual?

  • i do this and then like a couple days latter it resets

    idk why??

  • thanks for postin this man helped me a hell of a lot, solved my problem, and saved a few hours of research

and fuck those 24 trolls that thumb-downed this video

  • is it the username and password of the computer or of ur verizon account?

  • well the ip address i got from myt computer didnt work so i got the thing of the website

  • Thnx a lot !!!!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WORKED :)

  • how come when i got to the DMZ its says "DMZ Host is currently disabled." How can i enable

  • fyi if you reset router to default settings (by pushing in that tiny button with a pen) the username/password will revert to factory defaults which are easily obtainable from cust service or router manufacturer website (verizon/now frontier are admin/password with a forced change when you first log in)

  • Hey... Just so that you guys out there know.. Verizon/Frontier changed the passwords to the routers... the Passwords are the Serial Numbers of the routers themselves. The numbers are on the silver sticker on the router at the bottom of the sticker. It usually starts with "CSJ......" and it is CASE SENSITIVE! also, you can program in a manual static ip address to the x-box and set everything up to that address ( usually a code a ways away like 192.168.1.80) , and that fixes "rolling ip" issues.

  • @sk8willy1

THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WORKED!!! my original password stopped working and my NAT on my xbox went back to moderate. thanks!!!

  • @sk8willy1 Tried the serial number for the password... whats the username?

  • @sk8willy1 what is the new default username now?

  • @sk8willy1 i tried that and it still didnt work i typed in username: admin Password: csje9151416712 please help MEE !!!!!!

  • @helluva667 hold in the reset button on the router for like 10 secs and it will go back to admin password1

  • @cashcroppimp With every change I make, I need to re-set my router, so needless to say when I mess up it prolongs the process. When I try to put in my Xbox IP, it won't accept it. It will put in 0.0.0.0., and then my internet is down until I disable DMZ host, and re-set it to my main computer. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

  • Thanks for the video, and great taste in music.. pac and tech

  • I got a "The host does not belong to any recognized LAN." message.

  • dude.. GREAT TUTORIAL!!!! :)

now i can play some MW2!

  • thank you i have bem tryin to do this for honestly years! I followed all your steps and my NAT type is now open! Thanks so much (:

  • by check off you mean to uncheck it or check it?

  • My NAT is still moderate

  • When I try to check the box nextto the DMX host pageit tells me that the host doesnt belong to a recognizable LAN. I don't know what to do and haven't found anything googling it. If you know what to do, thanks.

  • when i get to the dmz host page, theres no slots where i can put numbers in. theres a drop down thing with a list of things using the internet. one of those things is my xbox. should i just put that?

  • @nickshitt obviously

  • the usernamer is not working so is the password

  • @Rambofan288Xboxlive not my problem. i said what to do if that's the case for u.

  • @cashcroppimp When i tried o acess DMZ Host i got this message

DMZ Hosting is not available while configured for Routed IP WAN (Routed Bridge).

    How do I fix this?

  • Comment removed

  • @Rambofan288Xboxlive

read the fuc$ing steps you retard

if you don't know the pass/username ask your parents

  • I don't think you've been thanked enough, this really helped a ton. Easy and quick. Thanks so much. <3

  • @Vegatastic thank you <3

  • THANK YOU MAN, THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR THE LAST WEEK OR SO!!!! All I needed to do was the DMZ stuff, thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what if you have 2 xbox will it let both of them play cuz when i had a linksys it wouldnt let us play both with an open nat they both had to be strict

  • hi, for some reason when i go to the dmz host the thing that lets you type in the ip doesnt show up. it only says enable and if i press enable it will show disable. do you know how to let it show the thing that lets u type in the xbox ip

  • ur awesome TYVMMMMM!!!!!!!

  • thank you thank you thank you .... ive seen all the videos but yours worked wooo wooo

  • @sjkthebeast yeah i know same here :(

  • i have verizon fios and did exactly what you said and even tried the second option (i dont get the firmware upgrade or option 3). it still is moderate. but... im used to this kinda stuff. this kinda stuff is always my luck.

  • @connorman001 yeah. nothing is 100% with this NAT stuff. its tricky no doubt =/ sorry it didn't work for you

  • im just gonna give up now X(... ive tried everything you could possibly search. 6 hours straight of trying to fix this. lol

  • thanks man u da best

  • yay i got mine from strict to open, you rock dude ;D

  • ***I REALLY NEED HELP***

Me and my friend can't connect to eachother and we both have OPEN NAT's. One day it just stopped letting us connect, and the only way we CAN connect is if I put my ethernet cable directly into my main modem. But if I do that it disconnects my brother and computer from the wireless because the wireless router is connected to the modem as well (I connect my XBox to the router). Can anyone PLEASE help me?

  • who's the song buy sounds like dead prez. cheers btw.

  • thanks man. simple and quick. now my nat is open :D

  • yo man when i click on DMZ host is say. "DMZ hosting is not available while congigured for routed IP WAN(Routed Bridges)"

what do i do now man?

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH. CALLED VERIZON, AND THEY CHANGED IT QUICKLY. I LOVE YOU

  • @cashcroppimp

seriously dude thanks. I called Verizon and was on the phone for 15 minutes. reason the passwords did not work, is because my dad changed them and forgot. so the guy at verizon reset my router, and i MADE my own username and password. thanks so much, lagging out from a game when all ur friends can join it really sucks. <3 <3 <3

  • @MetallicaTime did u have to pay extra to have ur NAT changed cus they told me i gotta pay extra

  • @SkateRat721

ur probably on a weird plan. call back, and talk to a different person

  • none of the usernames and passwords work. does that mean my dad changed them? or do they have to be the default?

  • @MetallicaTime why don't you ask him, and to my knowledge those are the most common defaults for all routers/modems

  • @MetallicaTime try the username/password as user/user...

  • i did all the steps to change the nat type but it will not work, is there anyone i can call that you know?

  • Thanks cashcroppimp! I called xbox live and they couldn't help me. I called verizon, and after being on the phone for 45 minutes the woman was convinced I was trying to do something illegal and couldn't help. I watched this video and opened NAT in a few minutes!

  • @raidercity <3 yw

  • thanks bro u helped me out big time haha i was lost b4 this vid legit lmao

  • it works thank youuuuuuuuuuuu

  • thank you so fuckin much! from moderate to open thank you thank you

  • Thanks...this really helped.

  • DUDE thank you man it works !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I FUCKING LOVE U!!!!!!

  • if you cant DMZ the laptop ip address, then what do i do?

  • Thanks! :D really appreciate it, well made video, very helpful

  • my NAT was open like 3 weeks ago but now its moderate again and ive tried all of your instructions but everytime i do a configure network it always says that my NAT is still moderate =(

  • @tintct00 Same hereee. :(

  • @tintct00

You need to set up a static ip address for your xbox. It's set to automatic which means your xbox might assign itself a different ip address from time to time. If you set up a DMZ for one IP address and you xbox changes itself to another one, obviously it isn't going to work anymore. Just google setting up a static IP address for xbox 360

  • haha. this works for ps3 too.. SWEET!

  • If you're using your laptop as the xbox router, you shouldn't DMZ the ip address of the laptop. otherwise you're opening it up to attacks

  • @tiotito31 glad you know a lot about computers. i mean if you're half-retarded and download viruses all the time that's your own problem. Please do elaborate; what kinds of "attacks" would the dear people be opening themselves up to?

  • It keeps telling me that "The host does not belong to any recognized LAN" I am using my laptop for XBL and I'm confused.

  • @themastr1024 its b/c for w/e reason your laptop isnt showin up as a "device" on your network. There's a page under ur routers settings that shows all devices connected to it, & if you don't see your laptops IP there, it doesn't kno its even connected to it. --I dunno how to fix this for your laptop-- If ur router isnt recognizingg your laptop, it cant create a DMZ host for an IP it doesnt know exists.

To fix: connect ur xbox to ur router via wireless adapter or ethernet cord. no laptop/computer

  • @cashcroppimp Thanks, for the response. I guess if that's the only way to fix it then I'll go get a wireless adapter.

  • @XxzedzimXx It's supposed to be your own stuff...

  • dude omg thanks you have no idea how much this this helped me!

  • Kudos dude!

    works a treat

  • omg thanks now i wont lag as bad

  • PS3 USERS...IT WORKS

    THANK YOU!!!!!!

  • and the ip address of the laptop/comp mentioned in the annotation at 2:25 is the one from the website?

  • thank you my friend, now i dont get kick out of xbox live for no reason

  • BRO! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!

  • Wouldn't setting the xbox's IP to automatic make it a dynamic IP? It's probably better off you set it to manual so that incase you have to restart the router it goes back to the same IP every time. You dont want to accidentally DMZ an important computer.

  • I don't have that DMZ host box? It is DMZ hosting...what the hell?

  • would the same way work on the ps3
