When I was a kid growing up in the 60's, I used to play my Mums records, one day I played "Whiter shade of Pale" and my Mum burst into tears. It was her brothers favourite who used to be a pro Motorbike racer... he'd just been killed on the Dover track. For years that record could no longer be played.

Now... My Mum is with her brother again and I can think of both of them when I hear it.

This version is the nicest I've heard.
