I live in Missouri as well . My grandpa and aunt live close to the Missouri river and it floods the basment. You kind of learn to live with it and take as it comes.

im from the hazelwood area and the last bad flood we had was in '93. no offense, but i do feel that the urgency in which missouri got response almost the next day from an unexpected flood is amazing compared to 2 1/2 years down in new orleans from a known hurricane. most will argue that a hurricane is much worse than just flooding but i think you see my point...

The plant is fine. Was shut down on Wednesday due to Hwy 142 flooding and parking lot underwater.

Wow! I'm from Poplar Bluff. I graduated from H.S. in 1977. I can't believe how bad the floods are there. My friend lives on the South Side down by the river. I'll have to call and see if he's flooded out. Thanks for posting this video
