there isnt 'mayan' there is Ketchi, Mopan, garifuna etc. Ketchi is most common with mayans around Punta Gorda. I was just generally speaking about Belize, not trying to be ignorant or whatever. Cities like Belize, PG, Belmopan etc are mostly creole.
