  • needs a little more base in that tenor...too much squealing, but its good

  • Nobody sings this song better than Lil' Robert. It's from the heart.

  • you sound great brother!

I will be praying for you, please keep on singing.

It bothers me that my (and your) favorite bass singer is only singing with some local folks on occassion!

I agree totally that Mike Presnell is the greatest bass singer PERIOD!

I wish Gods will for his and your life and sure hope it includes Mike back in the limelight again,he deserves it for sure!!!

  • Thank you so much. Mike has revamped Perfect Heart! But He, like myself are still only doing local bookings now.

My God Bless you in this wonderful new year,

    Robert

  • Well done.

    Brother Don.

  • Thank you brother Don.

  • Yes I can chirp to D#6 but it isn't anything you'd want to hear! LOL! I think whistle tone's are novel and really don't add a lot to a song unless you are singing Mozart! You are blessed with the voice God gave you!

  • I'd sure love to hear your speaking voice. Do you have a baritone, tenor, alto speaking voice? Amazing your vocal control.

    chris

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Lets put it this way! I get YES MAM'ED at all the fast food drive thru's all the time! Everytime someone calls my home they ask to speak to the man of the house! HAHAHAHAHA!

There is a price to pay for singing natural tenor! I will soon post a video of me talking and singing an acapella tune. Because I get this question alot! So many accuse me of singing in false tones.

  • Actually...there's very little head voice in this note-A#5, only enough to keep my voice from tiring out through a 2 hour concert, it is a natural tone. I was around 32 when this was recorded live in concert. Several years ago I set the highest Southern Gospel tenor world record where I sang and sustained C6 within a song.

  • But due to the fact that I was highly criticized by the so called Southern Gospel CLICK, I retracted it from Guinness Book.I am not one to try and make people think I'm better then them, but within this so called click some put themselves so high upon a pedestal they they cry wolf if ANYONE challenges them.

  • Head voice is a natural tone. I didn't mean falsetto which is different. I have done a scope of my larynx and you can tell when I sing high the vocal cords will close enough to allow a small opening. Depending on your speaking voice your head voice might be higher than mine say. Anyway I would love to sing as high as you do. Also I use to when I was younger was being asked to speak to my parent or if I was the lady of the house. My speaking voice is tenorish/baritonish now.

  • You might be what they call a tenor altino. Regardless you have a gift from God which needs expression. You know how I feel about spreading God's light!

  • OMG! I listened to this and thought holy smokes what a great head voice you have. What is your range? This was very nice.

    chris...

  • whats even more amazing is one person below says we are just curious beings and that why we are tempted. people dont rape and brutally kill children because its our nature to be tempted. Satan is real. and although you have your own will you are influenced by something far more greater than movies and music and culture. when a man walks in to a 70 year old mans house and beats him to death with an ax you can bet it just wasnt his nature or influences in life that persuaded him.

  • i am always amazed at people who down play Christians and their faith in an eternal God. what is so amazing is these same people put their faith in a world that was created by an explosion. ive got a great idea for your belief, put a firecracker in your hand and light it and see if creation or chaos is made.you claim to say that God is not real but every time something bad happens those same people use the phrases "good God, Good Lord, oh my God". even your sub conscious knows that God is real.

  • Very well stated!

  • I'm amazed! Wow your great, To God be the glory!please come to the Philippines and sing for Church anniversary. Thumbs up

  • It is one of my dreams to come the the Philippines to sing! Maybe one day soon as God may open the door for me to come visit.

    thank you so very much,

May God richly bless you in all you do for Him!

    Lil' Robert

  • I understand that even if you do something terrible, if you happen to be truly sorry and ask for forgiveness, the pain on your heart might be lessen. All I'm saying is: Stop blaming a character that doesn't exist(Satan) for the bad things that you do!!! Take responsability for your acts. That's it. Have a great life and after life sir, I don't mean to continue stating my personal views any longer. Ps: You are an awesome singer!

  • Blaming Satan is only a crutch for those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions.satan IS the author of confusion and the great tempter, but as I stated before,God gives us all the ability of making our own decisions.I can see how you would & could think that I would blame satan for using Gods name in vain or any other bad action, when all in all "I" will be held accountable for my sins.So just as in society to day, pointing the finger only gives temporary justification for being STUPID

  • Robert,

I wasn't quite sure just what U meant in the email U just sent me. When U said something about the SOUL HAD just been reached. I think I know. In other words he got stirred up a bit. I know God will use U if U will let him. I agree with MoJo, God has blessed U with a talent and U should use it for his Glory. I still say U R the BEST TENOR I have heard and I have heard a bunch of them. Keep on singing and preaching for his GLORY.May God always Bless U. I give U another 15*****.

    Darlene

  • Wow what an incredible voice. Thank you so much for your kind words and everything you do for people. I have heard many sing this song and I honestly think that is one of the best or the best have I heard. Right there with Rosie.

  • WOW !!!...The most beautiful song ever penned by man...and sang in such EXCELLANT style!!

This is the song I had my friend sing at my Mother's funeral...it should touch the heart of the most cold hearted!..Oh, What a Saviour we have!..I read your story, and I'm so glad your back to using the voice that God has given you to sing His praises!..You truly have an amazing tenor voice!

"Be not weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not"

    God bless you!

  • Lord, GOD surely has blessed U. Do not let any one or any body discourage U. U sound like BRIAN FREE. I love to hear good tenor singing. When I played this cold chills ran up and down me. Please keep up the good work. MoJo is a real special friend of mine. I will be listening to more of your music.

Thanks again I have enjoyed listening to U very much.

    Darlene from MO.

  • Lil'Robert,

I want to tell U something when I started listening to this song I had cold chills running up and down me. I felt the spirit in this like never before in any songs that I have played on here. I am a good Friend of MoJoPiano. I agree with him this is the BEST TENOR singing I have heard and I have heard a lot of them. I love Southern Gospel Music. YOU have Blessed me please don't let anything or any body dicourage U. May God Bless.

    Darlene from Mo.

  • I just want to say you are one INCREDIBLE tenor! One of the best I've ever heard and I've been listening to southern gospel music all my life (57 years). I can relate to the story you tell, as I am currently going through a similar situation myself. I do know this, God gave you a marvelous talent and He STILL has work for you to do with that talent. "Oh What A Savior" INDEED! God bless you! Mike (MoJoPiano) FIVE STARS

  • Thank you so very much. Yes the heart leads us, through Christ. And when it has been broken, only time and the touch of Christ can heal. Even now, after all this time, I read up on Some blogs from time to time and some still run me into the ground. Satan has so many tools to use against us. But God can..............

God Bless you in all you do for HIM,

    Lil' Robert

  • Yes, Satan loves to devour, divide and destroy, and he uses many "tools" and means to do so. BUT, God makes no mistakes! He gifted you with that amazing voice and talent for a reason. Just continue to look unto him for your healing and renewal, and PLEASE don't put your gift for ministering to others on the shelf. Stay off those nasty and mean spirited blogs; they're not worth your time and energy! Now listen to the old man here! LOL! Keep looking up brother! ONWARD & UPWARD! Mike (MoJoPiano)

  • Satan doesn't exist man, that's an invention of the church to keep people from killing each other, and avoid chaos, as well as to control society. Temptation is part of our nature, we are curious beings. Don't blame the Devil for your wrong doings, take responsability for your own acts. Beware of Freddy Kruger tonight when you go to sleep!!Lol

  • Ill reply as simply as I can making sure you understand the simplicity our faith. If Im wrong,Ive nothing to loose, but if YOUR wrong...you have lost everything

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"What amazes me is that you interject a fictional being to define your fear, when you reject the absolute existence of an entity that will one day claim your soul and hand over to you all of your gravest fears for an eternity

GOOD LUCK with that.Rev RD Richardson

  • Please don't take my reply as a way of belittling you or your beliefs.I respect them, but just as you,I disagree.strengths of misunderstandings & disagreements has been the fuel behind every war, battle and one on one street fight thats ever come to pass.God gave us ALL free will to make our own choices,so its not your or my responsibility to force another to"change" their belief, but its my calling in life to present to others the peace, hope, happiness, passion and forgiveness God so FREELY gave me

  • "If Im wrong,Ive nothing to loose, but if YOUR wrong...you have lost everything", that sentence shows to me that you've chosen the path you have because you are scare. Off course, heaven sounds awesome, right? But it's your fear to rot in hell that keeps attached to God. Although, I'm glad people think the way you do, that's the way to keep order in this world, through fear. "There must be consequences to your acts, that is a universal law, therefore beware of what you do", right?

  • My fear? The fact that many people turn to protestant religions (or any other religion) is because they fear God, they learned about what could happen to them as a born-sinner individual if they don't follow the steps "some people" decided to write about to control the masses of ignorant people. What makes Islam different from Catholiscism? Simple, a choice to believe in either A or B. The choice depends on what part of the planet you were born and the popularity of that belief in the region.

  • Another thing, who said I don't believe in God or a higher being? I just don't believe in the devil, as I don't believe in Chucky, Jason, or the monster hiding underneath my bed. I'm just saying that Christians, as you like to denominate yourselves, often blame the being, the devil, for all their wrong doings:" Oh, I was a coke-head addicted gambler that used to hit my wife every night for fun, but that was the devil, he was tempting me! Now I have accepted Jesus, and I'm forgiven!!" Lol

  • Thank you so much for sharing. You were my bowling partner back in our Indiana days. I too have know the hurt from churches and religion (Not Christ). This is more of a blessing to hear than you will ever know. Please keep posting more. Let us know when and where we can buy a CD. I want to be first in line. Love in Christ

  • Oh yes! how I remember! We had so much fun! I wish you guys were closer maybe we could do some more bowling! haha! Thank you so very much.

I love you guys with all my heart,

    Lil' Robert

    "Bobby"

  • I want 2 thank everyone 4 the wonderful emails & responses Ive gotten over Oh What a Savior. The colage of photos within this video are some of the most wonderful moments of my singing career past.Ive been hurt & let down so badly by so many that had claimed to be my friends in Christ that has been 2 years since Ive even held a mic. But,God has found within His timeframe 2 touch my heart & begin heal the pain within. After all this time the desire 2 sing is beginning 2 grow within my soul again

  • excellent high singing! I wonder what the key is because Lil´Robert sings up to G#5 several times!!

  • Thank you so much, It has been about 8 years ago, I think we sang the song in the key of A flat.

    Lil' Robert

  • This is BEAUTIFUL, brother! So hard to find a tenor these days who can sing with such passion!! The Lord has truly blessed you and I know that someone's heart has been touched by being a witness to this, I know mine has! Keep on singing, and I'll do the same! Maybe seeya in that 'Heavenly Choir' someday! :)

  • Thank you so much. time heals all wounds, it has been 2 years since I have sang. But...as you can tell, God is beginning to speak peace to me once again. I have learned through all this is regardless of what some people say or think, we need to just flat out BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD. God Bless. It took me a long time to be able to come to peace with that.

    Lil' Robert

  • AWESOME!

  • A very long story. It was a hard road, long traveled. Jealous hearts, spiteful minds, disapointing situations and painful unforseen circumstances pushed me away from the quartet life.

    Lil' Robert

  • That hurts my heart, I to have been hurt and have lost in life, I am learning to continue to love and go on, theres no one more important to remember than Jesus, who was killed by us and still loves us through his pain. I hope you can find love for singing again through your pain, God Bless you Robert, If you ever need a bass singer let me knoe, lol, David

  • Thanks for subscribing to my channel, why the title forgotton tenor?
