Not every attempt at this is successful, but this remix has several things going for it:

A. The 80's song already had some heavy synthesis behind it.

B. The chord progression used is a very uplifting one.

C. The vocals as done in this song are a throwback to 80's disco.

D. The song has the right arpeggiated touches to carry it thru, totally in the background and not in your face.

In my opinion, a great remix of a great song.
