I'm glad we met too. I can't make it to the M&G, I wish I were going. I plan on going to the Vegas one though. Yeah, it wasn't hard to leave the job, but just hard to leave all these awesome people. I've seen my co-workers a couple of times since than, so that's been nice. I hope you're dong well.

I have a question: was it a difficult to go w/ a surgery date so close to your birthday? Right now I'm struggling w/ that decision. Because as of now - my surgery date (December 8th) is a week before my birthday & I'm not sure how I feel about it.
No, it was okay. My b-day felt like even more of a celebration and this was the best gift I could have given to myself. I celebrated before surgery and this year I was able to celebrate on my b-day. It's made it really special for me. Congrats on getting a surgery date. You'll probably still not feel completely yourself on your b-day, but you will have so many more b-days that you'll be able to celebrate the way you want to. I hope that helps.

I can eat anything and only get "sick" if I overdo the sugar or fat. Otherwise I can carbocide with the best of them. I am trying to just make sure I don't go up from here. I still want to lose but at least I don't want to go up.

MJ, I am so glad I got to meet you during your first year of losing weight following your surgery.
Will you be traveling to the SC meet and greet in Nov? I am unable to do that.
I think you could make a video resume to help yourself find a new job.
I understand what you said about feeling that your job is part of your family.
We will have two people leaving this week after 40+ years working together.
