For those of you talking crap about the south, we are not sore losers, the Union burned our land, left the southern economy in shambles, killed civilians, then left us to rebuild on our own without a care in the world. The south is the only reason the US is even around, with more revolutionary battels being fought in South Carolina than any other state. Get your facts straight or get over yourselves!

And the Union were no better, with their mass imprisoning of dissenters, incarceration of a Supreme Court justice, quashing of speech, Draft Riot of 1863, race riots in Boston, total war and targeting of civilians and other noncombatants for desolation.

First off, I'm less religious than Thomas Jefferson was, but I share his appreciation for some of the things Jesus may have said (if he existed).

Secondly, Florida is not often considered "the South" much anymore due to so many northern retirees.

Slavery as a cause was union propaganda, your comment implies it was Confederate.

Lastly, my heritage fought on the union side, this is an issue of historical accuracy.

@metalkrush77 You should probably be aware that the Union had 5 slave owning states throughout the war and they were never freed until the Constitutional amendment. There were slave markets in Balitmore and throughout major Union cities. The emanicpation proclamation specifically excluded all slaves in union territory, and union sympathetic lands. Do you call what Sherman did Christian instead?

Rebs might have been poorly outfitted but killed 100,000+ more like that.

have any of you guys ever heard of some of the southern guerrila warfare guys. they would ride out on horses and carry as many as 12 pistols and just waste a whole regiment of union regulars, jesse james was actually one of these guys until the north refused his surrender and shot him. he managed to escape tho. that would be kick ass if the south had those units in this mod and they could fire really fast and really quick reload and just waste the northern units LOL

I'm having some trouble, I installed the mod and I launched it and it brought me to the splash screen. Then about 10 seconds later, the screen went black and the cursor reapeared, then it showed an error report and the game crashed. I uninstalled the game, removed the folder from the steam directory and re-installed the game. I re-intalled the mod and it did the same thing. Anything I'm doing wrong? Or is the mod just not compatible on my computer?

Its not possible in the empire engine. Just 1 flag is allowed. When it would be possible to add 2 animated flags, we would just have 2 faction flags which looks the same, not a unique regimental flag, so we had to do this compromis and made 2 new equipment flags, which are static.
