@theonecynic Yes, not a fix exactly, its a new design, it looks the same from the outside, works the same, but the wiring is a bit diffrent. Check out my channel on Jan 13, a video will be up on how to do it.

@BigCloudGaming Thanks, have been tinkering with this today and got something working, had to use repeaters though so reversed and lengthened the flowing water at the front to slow incoming boats to a safe speed. Look forward to seeing your video so I can compare and contrast!

If you don't have much redstone/supplies, try the one in my video. It does the same exact thing but it just doesn't have a "return" part to it.

Mine was way simpler, less ugly and worked just as well. Just a simple Piston Dam with some elevation above sea level. The water + downwards force launches you ages out to sea. Looks good if you use fences for the dam too.

@BillyB4d4ss Why not just build it yourself :D.. It's simply a piston dam with a small pool of water which a boat can be launched out of, which is slightly elevated, about 3 - 5 blocks (can't remember) above the water :D..

I have an issue with this design: ever other activation, one piston in center will go down but not up. The next press, it clears it. This can block the boat from entering/leaving.

I've got everything oriented East to West, but after the first time I trigger the pressure plates, they all stay down. It looks like the redstone leading from the plates isn't causing the redstone torches to activate? This seems to work for everyone else, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

it has a issue this way due to the orientation but the concept is very solid. i also altered the design using this as a base. lessened the width and managed to replace the sticky pistons with nonstick to make the design more accessable in vanilla survival^^ THANKS FOR THIS DESIGN DUDE!

I can never get slimeballs I made a slime farm on a slime eligeable chunk thats like 30 by 30 by 6 and the chunk is perfectly placed except the farms a bit too big its bigger then the chunk but ive been putting it on easy for house then to peaceful to get check since they dont despawn on peaceful and then hard etc.

@silo901 The whole point of the sticky piston is so that the planks will retract instead of just floating there. Normal pistons push but don't pull.

This can be fixed! I have mine facing north and it works now, I simply dug a secondary path at the back of the series of pistons to run a spare redwire connection one block under the center line of the pistons all the way to the front. It still geys buggy if the button is held down but it manages to reset itself each time.
