@CapLAGOS Next video (almost finished) is about a Spanish aerobatic pilot, not less awesome than this girl... :) But I have to admit that she did it so great that I bow before her... X) Maybe you´d like this airshow, because there also were a Hornet and Rafale.
@BasicModelling Talking about aerobatic planes, my favourite has always been the Pitts Special (so cute...) As a biplane, to me it has certain charm that monoplanes lack...
@AlanMartinNala True, the Pitt is special.. :) :) A bit dated now as an aerobatic performer, but still worth seeing in the hands of a skilled pilot.. :) And as a biplane it always has charm, definetely.. :) I have seen a couple in action over Boxted, doing some beautiful displays.. :)
@BasicModelling@BasicModelling Unfortunately, it seems that the Pitts is among the aerobatic planes that most crashes suffered; either by pilot mistake or mechanic failure. Few years ago I saw a video on a Pitts which both wings to the left (or to the right, I´m not sure) broke backwards during a show. I think it was a crash back in 1996... This can happen to anyone at any moment anywhere in any plane, probably because of the tremendous forces the structure has to stand. A risky sport indeed.
@AlanMartinNala Yes, any kind of flying involves risks.. One of Swedens most experienced display pilots died the other day when the Spitfire he flew crashed in Norway, so it can happen to anyone at any time.. :(
wow ! fantastic!

The Extra 300 is a superb aerobatic performer, and this lady pilot is extremely skilled... :)
