Most musicians - by the time they're known enough to have that size crowd applauding them they're no good any more - playing their own songs too damn fast, dropping words - generally sounding like they are sick to death of the music that they're playing.
Not this recording. This is just plain great music. Not destroyed by the fame. 3 cheers.

Saw them both live with brother of mine in a old Gig or Lounge for years ago and had spoken with them nice guy's with humor and feeling for mankind, white folks could'nt come into that place but we just stepped into it with Big John Wrencher was amazing how these folks just speak with instruments only place was in Chicago the name ??Clarence Lounge or something like that
Do you know who was playing w these 2 gentlemen? Piano sounds Pinetop's style & big backbeat from the drummer, but? The Monreux thing w/ Bill Wyman & I don't remeber who on slide? I'm lost, please help me!
the ISOBOBS video is excellent. that dude is pretty athletic. ....and she looks pretty hot.
it took me almost 20 years to find this song after that video came out. there was no credits anywhere for the song. and getting a response from the bobs was impossible.
find a videotape/dvd called "The ISOBOBS" and watch the stage performance on it called "Hoover Halucinations"of the ISO dancers. they use this song as a soundtrack for this drunk dude trying to get up the nerve to talk with a real hot gal. it is pretty neat.
Two of the finest Bluesmen to ever walk the the streets of Chicago.

Sounds like that classic Montreaux show from 1974.. On a Blind Pi LP/CD as "Smokin' TNT and drinkin' Dynomite!" as well as Rhino video.
