Um ok first of all I'm 18 I study Hymenoptera such as Vespoidea, Ichneumonoidea, Chalcidoidea, and Evanoidea... and I find this very insulting. Without insects we would all be dead. Second of all I am a normal GIRL I DO HAVE a boyfriend, I live a completely NORMAL life and I do not cry myself to sleep. Who ever came up with this is obviously delusional.

Nice video, but I think there is a twilight zone here in South America, where entomologists are well respected as scientists, known as temerary or bad ass xrazy scientists and good looking people. So if Northamerica is the kind of place where they make us look like geeks, well I will never ever bother going there!

so uhh...a couple things here...well, ive never seen one of those weird magnification things...and entomologists generally dont wear lab coats because there usually isnt anything offensive or dangerous in the lab...but love the video
