it wouldent matter what type of shroud is put on the creatures because the elf lords state other elf creatures you control get +1+1 aoe effects like those dont target any individual creature so would bypass shroud

just a warning, giving your elves shroud is a very bad thing because you will most likely have cards that say "all other elves gain +1/+1", but because you gave them shroud, you can't do this. Make sure the card says "can't be the targets of spells or abilities that your OPPONENT control"

@AFiercePanda lol shroud dons´t effect multi target spells like all elvs get trample for exsampel. only thing like if u wan t to give them buff it be a trouble so hexproof is much better

@mavarek666 yea both is best...just use gate as fast as you can and coat of arms when you have enough creatures to make him go omgwtf bbq...i use both for my rats and it works fine when all my little 1/1 rats have fear and +X/+X (from coat of arms/gate:P)

If your using heritage druid and nettle sentinels as your mana base, might as well use LSV's 08 elves. They regularly win on turn 2/3, and he won a Pro Tour with them.

@mavarek666 well for me not really. because if you get destinies late in the game then it's not very use full. Coat of Arms acts instantly and catches people off guard. but if Door of Destinies works for you then that's good.
