Channel 4 Closedown With Pages From 4-Tel - 7/8th Apr 1995

Thailand's NBN2 have teletext around 2-3 am. and NBN1 get rid of all teletext already. Only NBN2 is only one channel to have teletext in Thailand

How come C4 never used music during 4-Tel pages like when the BBC shut BBC2 down for the night with Ceefax, and BBC2 still does occasionally, in fact it did last night!

Channel 4 DID use music during 4-Tel, just only during the last half hour or so before programmes began. In fact, BBC2 didn't start shutting down with Ceefax until 1999, and even then they only palyed music for the last half hour or so as well- the rest of the time was tone, like it is on here. It's only over the last 2 or 3 years they've played music through the entire night.

@James2001TV In fact, BBC2 carried all-through the night CEEFAX from December 1998 whilst Test Card J was being developed with music carried over from BBC1; it was in January 2000 that music played during the entire broadcast with tone for 15 minutes.
