Whoa. I got a big problem with this being considered 100% b/c I don't recall ever seeing the mini-boss from Brinstar being fought, so I'm not calling it 100%.

@lknpk15 100% means all items collected, not all bosses fought.  You don't need to fight Spore Spawn in Brinstar, because you can collect the item it guards regardless.

I love how that secret path that goes from upper Maridia to upper Brinstar seems to have no purpose whatsoever but years later you find out it's purpose is to be the fastest route from Norfair to your space ship which you want to hit to refill your super missiles after Ridley.

The execution of that path is so fantastic. Just amazing use of Samus' powers to get through as fast as possible.

Samus rescued that metroid in Metroid 2 : Return Of Samus - I think that was the name. In which she visited the metroids home planet.

Bringing back that 1 metroid baby, the start od Super Metroid explains the attack and the brief encounter with Ridley at the start of the game.

I think you can see it from out side the little spot. Still though, how'd the player know when to Super Jump to the missile upgrade at that point?

When I was playing at that point, I shot around the outside of the upgrade and some Speed blocks appeared meaning you need to charge at it. To get it, I acctually charged up from the bottom floor, through the room in the right. You have to get in just right or else youll bang into one of the platforms.

What was the point of switching off the suits and purposely draining your power down right before letting the Baby Metroid grab Samus? Does it take less time for the Baby Metroid to let go, as a time saver?

every time u beat a boss u go there and thier statue turns grey and they lose thier soul. he was bomb jumping all around the room.

That`s no trick - He charges up by running, and to run as much as he needs to, he must open the gate to move juuust as close to it as he can, to charge the special jump...

..so he can get the missiles hidden in the roof^^

It`s amazing how ppl find out these things.
