it is interesting to me how styles and music are recycled through the generations, if you look around you will see that even the clothing is starting to take on a 20's look, if you notice in the 20's our country was going through a depression and this music was jazzy and made people want to dance. now about 80 years later our country is going through a "recession" and this is becomeing popular again. during the begining stages of the iraqi war people took on a 70's look, almost like vietnam.

i just found out about this band from, dexter the hbo show, but i have got to say that every song that i have heard from them is amazing, it has a very 1920's 30's flapper girl feel to me and i think that it is about time that thought provoking music started to amerge again. it seems to me that the music indistry as a whole has been pretty stagnant for awhile now, and i find that the pierces are the breath of fresh air i needed to get interested in music again.
