Yep I remember Super Nintendo and playing FZero or Sega Genesis and playing the crap out of the Sonic The HedgeCock game, those were the good old times. :-)
I remember as a kid I had so much trouble beating Super Mario World that I had a friends older sister down the street beat the game for me and get Fall World. I used to play the heck out of that game and Donkey Kong Country with my mother since I had so few games on the SNES.
Man I used to be the same way. I remember getting a game and playing it for hours and hours at a time. Even games Like Smackdown or madden or boxing, me and my friends would take turns and play through most of the night. If one of us fell asleep, the others would play to help unlock things. Then we would wake up and play some more. These days I will buy a game, be extremely critical about its flaws, and either loose interest after about 4 to 6 hours of play and I will move on to something else.
