  • Uh... The real reason it's called Clint Eastwood is because, well it samples some songs from movies he was in, but mostly as a tribute to dub reggae artists who had similar stage names. You can tell by the first two albums that Gorillaz were very dub and punk orientated.

  • nobody can copied 2d oah hoo hoo hooo

  • uuh u guys thinkin what im thinkin?

    ROCKBAND GORILLAZ!!!!

  • You got to give Harmonix credit for going as far as to recreate part of the music video. There is just something about seeing the drumming rapping with psychodelic colors around the screen, just like the music video.

  • and they added the drummer singing instead of the actual singer

  • classic clint FTW

  • funny how the rap parts is done by the drummer.

if what i remember is correct, in the music video Russell the drummer was possessed by Del who did the rap.

    memories.........

  • when they put the negative effect in its probably signifying that its Del the funky homosapien that took possesion of his body since it would be weird that a ghost would pop out a dudes hat

  • i like how they actually have the drummer singing which fits the origanal video perfectly

  • the song isn't 8 minutes long, it's about 6, she restarted a couple minutes into it after missing the one activation. but yeah it's pretty ridiculous

  • i knew it!!!

the drummers singing the rap! :D

nice job on the sightread (lol at the restart)

    :)

  • I think its awesome that the drummer is actually doing the rap! Just like the music video XDDD cept no ape.

  • I love how the screen goes inverted too, it kinda gives that spooky psychedelic feeling like in the original music video.

  • It's called Clint Eastwood because of the harmonica, which was used in a Clint Eastwood movie. Also, awesome video. LOL at that one point of activation.

  • I think part of the tune is from the "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".

  • Yep, there's a sample from the theme used in the song.

  • Also, the line "sunshine in a bag" is a reference to "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly": The sunshine referring to the bag of money Eastwood's character rides of with. I also agree with you on the weirdness of one point of activation.

  • Now I completely understand the reference. I learned something new guys, thanks!

  • oh ok thanks i was confused too. someone said something bout the headache pills 2-D takes cause it makes him feel glad but he isnt happy bout taking them.

  • lol
