  • Holy crap, what's with all the foam? These guys need to learn how to pour beer.

  • You know, for the swingers.

  • SO! That's where the jingle for the bonus stage of "Tapper" (that grand old 80's arcade game) came from! Too young to remember the commercial, old enough to remember the golden age of coin-op arcades. (I guess that makes me "middle-aged.")

  • They are so scared to play beer commercial and soda commercials today because the influence on the kids. Well, I say I would much rather have entertainmnet put on by beer companies than having them listen to how to fix Grandpa's penis not going up.

  • This was a Classic Commercial!

  • Why don't they have terrific commercials like this anymore. The World Series was just played and instead of cool beer ads like this, all they played were stupid 'erectile dysfunction' baloney.

  • o ya, thats ma beer, actually zipin on 1 as we speak.

  • i'm drinkin one right now as i'm watchin this

  • around the world in 80 music genres. Jeezus!! How can you beat this stuff?? all of us who lived through these times (40's-early 90's) Have truly seen the last of the best.Classic and fun!

  • yes happy festive people-the steel rimmed heyday-when u say bud your son is going to turn into an alchoholic monster, when u say bud, go get me a papst kid and dont drink it all before u come up the steps and run off..when u say bud Im 40 now and cant stop drinking...when u say bud

  • A happy festive people....

  • Do you know where I can find a classic '80s Budweiser commercial with the similar tune like this?

It goes...."This Buds For You. For All You Do, The King of Beers Is Coming Through....."

I grew up with that commercial and have been looking everywhere for that clip.

Thanks for posting this clip. This is back in the days when beer commercials were cool.

  • someone doesnt know how to pour

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • LOL ... old commercials are strange...... talk about "different time-space" !! Music can kinda just flow through the years and be timeless, but commericals are locked in time baby!

  • Bud rocks. I own their stock, I will be loaded soon. The commercial itself is a great memory...love it!

  • The big head is supposed to symbolise quality beer. Of course a head like that would snap, crackle and pop on a Budweiser in 15 seconds, so no need to worry! (oops, that was a beer snob cheap shot, sorry ;)).

  • umm...what is up with the obnoxious head on most of those beers?

  • dude, that's what i was just thinking. i think they used to drink it like that back then.

  • No, I haven't. I've been drinking beer since I joined the Navy. I've drank more beer in places around the world than you ever will.

  • Oh, you also know that Coors Brewing owns New Belgium, the company that makes Fat Tire? :)

  • Um, no they don't. It's employee owned. Used to work there before I graduated. Just take a look at their website.

Good job trying to get some attention.

  • I really don't care about what company owns who. I never said I was against the company or anything. Budweiser just tastes bad.

  • Beer snobs--Pfhhht!Sure there are a great variety of quality brews out there,(Samuel J. Duff Special Export for example)but hey, try mowing the lawn in July then crack a Duff- er-Bud and tell me how you suffered with every beechood aged swallow.Get off your high horse and on the Clydesdale-YOU BEERLITISTS!

  • Too bad beer in general sucks.

If you're going to drink something, drink something worth drinking.

I, of course, mean DELICIOUS RC COLA

  • what, no moon pie with that?

  • You do know Bare Knuckle Stout is made by Anheuser-Busch, right? :)

  • Yes they do!

  • On of the greatest jingles of all time! Great tune!

  • he would turn water into beer and have a round with everyone.

  • wwjd?

  • what is with the HUGE heads? Learn to pour, dingus...

  • Yep I was a kid in the 70's

and drank a lotta the King of Beers too!

  • Budweiser is the King of Beers, Unlike Miller who is the Queen of whatever they brew.South African Owned.

  • Great answer!

  • make u want to have a beer though, so i guess it works

  • The beer comercials in the 70's we're kinda crappy, and Budweisser is still kinda crappy until now, La cerveza es Corona!

  • wow, beer commercials really sucked back then

  • neat

  • Effective advertising - just ask any kid back in the 70's, "Who is the KING OF BEERS?" and the kid will reply, "BUDweiser!!".

Teach 'em while they're young, and they'll be your customers forever!!
