  • @WellThatsJustEmma sd card if you want to record to your computer get adobe on location

  • @MediaUnlocked thank you!

  • Does it link to Adobe OnLocation like this too?

  • @Pirate92a Never tried but it should work

  • hello i have 10.7.1 lion and it wont work for me pls help!!

  • @TekDump I dont believe it will work with Lion they made some changes with Lion and now a lot of software will not install.

  • That could come in very handy, someday. thx.Especially if you dont want to buy an expensive monitor. To bad that you can't record with that in good quality (HD) so you don't have to use any media-flash card.

  • I am desperately trying to use this software to shoot video without success. I can not find instructions inside the software on how to do this. I can see a live view preview on my laptop (MacBook Pro 17") but, no way to actually start shooting or recording the video from this software. Is it even possible? Or is this only meant for still photography? If so, I have Apple's Aperture software for that.

  • @uniformadvantage If you watch the hole video I show u how to use the software as monitor for ur video Look for a red button in live preview when connected to your computer to start recording

  • when I plugged it into my canon 60d this box pop up saying this version of the operating system canon be used. I have Mac OS Lion 10.7.2 (11C74). Is there anything I can do to fix this?

  • @shotputt10 It might be lion a lot of poeple have had trouble with lion

  • @shotputt10 same problem here too!

  • @drumguitar101 what is your problem?

  • @MediaUnlocked I don't think it works for Lion operating system on Mac's . When i try to open EOS Utility it says Cannot be used on this operating system.

  • @drumguitar101 That might be man I no long use the newer macs because of Lion I hate lion

  • @MediaUnlocked yeah Lion defiantly has its cons more than pros it seems like. I know i can down grade. Is it worth to downgrade to be able to use this software??

  • @drumguitar101 It is but downgrading is not easy

  • but can it be used for video as well?

  • @trocmari Yes it can

  • Thank you! I've had my Cannon T2i for about a year now and I'm just getting to installing the software. :-)

  • @Vis4Virtue It will really help you out I love the software

  • how did you connect this to your computer, just the usb connection?

  • @Snakekilla12 yes just use usb

  • Does this work for video mode as well? I would LOVE to use my laptop as my external monitor so I can make sure I'm in focus while recording my youtube videos. The screen on my Canon simply isn't large enough for me to tell if I'm in focus when I at 3-5feet away from it.

  • @718Digital You can use your laptop as an external monitor

  • @MediaUnlocked thats awesome, thanks for the quick response!

  • @718Digital any time man

  • @Luleask8 It should work the same way on a pc but I have never tried

  • Hey, Thanks for explaining how to install software onto my computer. The best part was watching for :35 seconds the installation bar creep towards finish. I watched that part at least 5 times

  • @BrianHessick thanks

  • Any idea why my focus buttons arent useable, theyre greyed out, and ill be damned if im gonna get off the couch and walk one metre and focus the camera manually!

  • @00sven00sven00 That sounds very weird could you explain whats going on in more depth

  • @MediaUnlocked naturally i solved the problem mere seconds after posting my comment, there was a setting in the camera i hadnt enabled or something, cant quite remember, but thanks for the quick reply!

  • @00sven00sven00 haha happy to hear you fixed it

  • I know you use the USB to import photos to the laptop. Do you also use USB to shoot photos remotely? Or is that a job for a fire wire?

  • @Speech78 I dont use the usb to shoot remotely but you could.

  • @MediaUnlocked Forgive me, this is my first DSLR camera. Let me rephrase my question. Four minutes into the video you are taping yourself and the room and it is displaying "remotely" on to your computer screen? Which wire did you use to do that? I installed the EOS utility on my computer and have turned my camera on but no communication has taken place. So, I realize it isn't a bluetooth or wifi type of deal but I need a USB cable?

  • @Speech78 Just hook it up via usb
