I am a huge DanFan, too and wish I had been there then and that I could attend this years memorial to Dan in Peoria. But--I will be there in spirit. How can you miss someone you've never met? Yet--I do..everyday when I listen to his music and think about him not being here creating more beautiful music. That's why I listen to him every single day--I cherish what he has left as his legacy. Way too sad that he is gone too soon.

Hi Tom; Thank you for making a wish come true. I could not make it to the concert, and I've been hoping to see a bit of it, to get an idea of what the Tribute was like. You sang the song beautifully, with great sensitivity to the wonderful artist that we lost. Seeing the photos of Dan behind you brought tears to my eyes. Please post more if you can.

Tom great song and job that night! Each and everyone, who performed that night,was just awesome! That evening was exactly what was needed, to heal my saddened heart ! I really felt Dan's presence that night and I know he was partying along with us!

wonderful, wonderful tribute to Dan! "One became this lonely soul who sat here once and sang these songs for you" Its just still so sad to know he is gone and wont sing for us any more.......He was so very special....

Tom, thanks for sharing this. That was truly the highlight of the show for me. So beautifully done! The sincerity and emotion of your performance was touching, right down to the heart tugging lyric revision.
