Mario seems to be programmed to be immune to stage based graphical edits in general.

Wheelies and walruses should be original sprites (although not necessarily in this level). There should also be an original "Crash" bomb enemy (personally I think it should kill all enemies on the screen, but if the player is too close, he dies instantly regardless of power-up despite the actual effect in Kirby).

It's a mint leaf. In Kirby's Dream Land (the very first one!) Kirby could get the mint leaf to fly automatically and have infinite air bullets. He needed it to kill a flying zeppelin which tried to murder him with a cannon. Of course.

now, how does it feel without the cast? you gotta be careful though because your leg is weakened now. when i broke my ankle and got rid of the cast, my leg felt just like flying away.

My current walking method must be pretty funky to see though.
