Fantastic lyrics. Completely original. Great codas eg. "No Future". "Bolloks" will always be one of the best, and most important LPs EVER !! They really did change the world. i'll put it this way...glen isn't mentioned in the album, but sid is..but sid definately wasn't playing in the album...despite the argument here, and from what i've read, the most reliable resource tells me me that steve played both the bass and guitar on the album...it kinda makes sense cuz when you listen to the studio versions of the songs, the bass lines really aren't very outspoken, it's mainly a regular guitar

oh cool, missed 'em. yeh sid was a regular, said to have invented the pogo. siouxie, steve severin, and billy idol were part of pistols-groupie-clique "bromley contigent". as for flowers, that wasn't a real group. it was a spontaneous, non-musical one-off gathering that played a racket in accompaniment to the Lord's prayer... or so I have read.

Great rock and roll band and with a great publicity agent.... yeah the damned were totally awsome but these were lucky enough to get a manager and record company who was willing to spend the cash to make em massive. Like I said, great rock an roll band and well marketed too. God a lot of you really fell for it.

Rotten has since revised his earlier statements and now acknowledges that Sid is nowhere to be heard on the album and, apart from Anarchy in the UK which has already been recorded as a single (and features Glen), Steve played all the bass. This is confirmed by Chris Thomas (producer) and Bill Price (sound engineer).

i'll put it this way...glen isn't mentioned in the album, but sid is..but sid definately wasn't playing in the album...despite the argument here, and from what i've read, the most reliable resource tells me me that steve played both the bass and guitar on the album...it kinda makes sense cuz when you listen to the studio versions of the songs, the bass lines really aren't very outspoken, it's mainly a regular guitar
