hey dude, i did this with another controller as an anchor (no one was controlling it) and i got with the one player 20 000 pts, plus x2. Maybe you should slow down a bit and focus on killing them, not leaving it to your time bonus. I so far have 6 meta game achievements, but i take it slowly til i get 15 000, than i rush.

Of course, the only excpetion is Cortana

And maybe even use two conrollers and use one as back up

when the marine is getting infected u can save him if u kill the the small flood or the embryos , if u save him he will be useful for killing the flood with frags but he eventually dies.

If you manage to push the white elite bodies into the areas with growth pods and burst them, will the infection forms transform the elite into a white combat form?I hear it happens but my xbox is dead and i dont have a way of testing it.

idk, it might, but i've never tried it. i usually have enough points by then, and i don't prefer to fight shielded elites a lot, lol.
