  • Hey Tracie! I'm trying to lose a little weight. And I HATE HATE HATE dieting. The main prob is that I get these cravings and then diets just seem to slip my mind. Whoops. And most importantly I'm interested in permanent weight loss. So, I'm going to try this supplement, L-glutamine, and see how that works. I'm not very trusting when it comes to medication, but I'm searching high & lows for cons to this and no dice. Just thought I'd share. Maybe it can help you in your efforts.

  • Well my internet has been down for the past two weeks and when I finally get back on I see that I missed a lot with you, Ms. Tracie Mae.   • 1 more question what is the name of the book your using and do you really like it does it help in the weight loss.

  • The book where I got the recipe from? It's called Cook Yourself Thin. I've made a couple of recipes from it and they are pretty good. I think the Turkey mini-meatloaves are the best so far though.

  • Hi Tracie, your looking & sounding more positive this week. Thats good. Great idea about writing down what you can make with the stuff you buy, because I shop every week and feel I still ain't got s**t also.

  • A reduction of 3500 calories = to 1 lb weight loss. Ms Tracie you might need to reduce the caloric intake by atleast 1000 calories per day and also increase your energy expenditure...target max 1200 calories per day . I avoid ground meats cause they contain high amounts of saturated fat. Good luck.

  • I'm on week 10 too and im working my butt of to lose this weight and I know you can too!

  • 21 pounds lost since may 11th but girl it was soooo not easy i just hope i dont gain it back but i will say you have to have motivation and a reason behind why you are doing it. mine is to stop shopping in the plus size section and get into those cute dreeses that accent my waist and any way i just look alot more prettier with out so much weight on my body.

    congrats on the weight loss this week!

    working out will definitely help the weight to come off a little quicker.

    i started at 285 and i'm now 158. took 2 years but it came off.
