How did you get the classic controller to work with ePSXe? I have been trying for hours but it just wont pick up the D-Pad or the Analog Sticks, only the other buttons...
oh, hi. awesome, found your blog through a cmobo of google n Dtoid. you're probably the best guy I can think of to ask this, but any idea where I can get an updated version of that script, I tried using it, and it highlights like 10 buttons when i press up or back, i tried playing street fighter with it and failed miserably. back, up. right shoulder were all medium kick and so on.
Since nobody has really provided any answers about how to make a corded USB version of the Wii Classic Controller, I am considering just giving up and going with Bluetooth, but before I do, I'd like to know what's the best (and cheapest) Bluetooth dongle, and if the wireless Datel Retro Pads for Wii will work, since they have the same Bluetooth technology in them and don't need to be connected to a Wii mote.
Would it be possible to convert a Classic Controller to USB -without- all the Bluetooth stuff? I mean like... an adapter similar to the ones for SNES, PSX, and GC controllers. Either that, or just a Wii Classic Controller with its own 6 ft long USB cord and HID compatibility.
If you know where to look, there exists Classic Controllers with Gamecube plugs. Combine that with a Gamecube-to-USB adapter and that should be good enough.
I've seen those, I think they are chinese knockoffs that are just Gamecube pad guts stuck in a Classic pad shell. This means no select button and the extra Z button is not functional since Gamecube didn't have one. And I want two player, and the Gamecube adapters don't come in two player form and are a bit pricey imo for just one player.
Having two tunes play simultaneously isn't annoying at all, as proven by this video...

I need to rewrite that guide. I've discovered a lot of shortcuts since I slopped it together.
