thats great. i can do this trick by showing the ace, flipping it over and when i show it it is gone. though that trick uses gimicked cards. this is great with a normal deck.

You can loose the gimmicked setup simply by adding a short card at the break. Then after the performance riffle to it rotate the half back and move into a new routine.

Important is that you relax afterwards sit back and do it and move into a new routine. I use your setup as well (I use a double back card shortened) and I can reset the deck for non-gimmicked effects. I ditch the double backer on my lap at some point or palm it of and pocket it.
