  • Do the guys on the rescue boat regularly travel in those ice cold churning waters without life vests???

  • a little wd- 40 and it should fire right up

  • Awesome job guys.

That boat would have been a liability sitting at the bottom, and could have become an unexpected problem at some point.

    Excellent work.

  • This was a really great clip to watch. Really showed the way people work together. It's something about boats. I love deep sea fishing, and the vibe between the guys was similar. You race or fish against each other, but when it comes down to the line, everyone helps. Love it. Thanks.

  • luckily it hung under that bridge. what a fuggn blessing, indeed

  • of course they died dumbass

  • @420jered they didnt

  • @420jered your the dumbass, they didnt die , pay attention !!!!

  • @HOPPERFZR

Pay attention to what? There's absolutly nothing in either video about the crew. The boat is more important than the crew, right? Idiots racing in rapids like this, is bound to end this way.

  • What happened to the drivers of the boat? Did they survive?

  • Would like to see the emergancy planning for this risky recovery. could have gone horrible wrong and does not seem to be that well thought out. Much bigger puller boat for starters !

  • If you guys want to see REAL jet boat racers watch "The Prophet River Boat Pull". It stars Phillip Dexter, Mike Phillips, and Tim Harding. With Rubin Hansen there for technical advice!

There are 5 videos, so don't miss out on a single heart stopping minute. NGU.

  • @rockinpiano1 Saw it about 9 months ago on the Eagle site. James put it up back when he was working there.

  • @rockinpiano1 saw it sorry it doesnt cut it

  • This has Tim Harding and Mike Phillips written all over it! NGU

  • this is right at riggins, just below time zone isnt it?

  • @mouslam Right under the bridge below time zone.

  • "Nightmare?" Unfortunate, troublesome not a nightmare.

  • @airborne373 It would have been a nightmare if the jetboat was yours! It's all relative. And Rich Friend! what a great name

  • @Sparta2310 Your talking to a paratrooper. I know all about "relative." lol.

  • @airborne373 I wish I had the balls to do that. I actually got a touch of vertigo watching a guy dive from a massive height on Youtube last week :( When the camera that was fixed at the top of the ladder panned down I felt my knees buckle a bit.

  • @Sparta2310 Airborne School is three weeks long. In the first week they separate the men from the boys. In the second week they separate the fools from the men. In the third week the fools jump. lol

  • @airborne373 LMAO - great punch line. I hope all your jumps are glorious and incident free :) You ever done any Base jumping? (think that is what it's called)

  • This is proberly the best video ive seen all year.

  • What is about racers that makes us pull together when something goes bad?

Good to see some good (and talented) friends came to your rescue!

    Just how its done right?

I always wanted to try river racing...looks like such a rush!

    Glad everyone was OK.

    Peace

  • how much were the repairs? any holes?

  • anyone die??????????

  • no they did not die

  • Thanks for posting this. I always wondered how they got that bad boy out of the river after seeing the first video a few times around the net.

  • No one died, everyone is ok.....See the Part one !

Nice to see they were able to get the machine back!!

  • thats awesome

  • nice video well done all those who helped save that awsome bit of kit

  • They lived....

they arelucky they go the boat back ...that streatch of river is bad that time of year....it could have been broken apart on the rock bottom.

  • nice effort boys!

  • oh kay:p thx:p

  • did they die? sorry if someone already asked but i didnt notice if so.

  • No they explain what happened at the begging of the video. No need to apologize.

  • what river is that

  • Comment removed

  • now i wonder if it can rebuilt unless a something shatterd from the thrmal shock and or the water entering the engine all of a sudden

  • it would of been fine as long as when they were carefully with the engine afterward. it would need alot of time to save it

  • @jvossbrink Idk it seemes all of that water going in a formula 1 racing boat whould break something

  • @jvossbrink All you have to do is re build it, get the water, mud, etc... out of the cylinders and other parts

  • Nice recovery

  • Way to Hollon ,that's the american way

  • Its great to see ppl. looking out for each other. By the way, who ever put these videos together , my hat is off to you for some of the best editing I have seen on youtube..Bravo Bravo !!

  • Why are so many on the river not wearing PFD'S?

  • what is the name of the song?

  • drivers are still in the boat or have they got them out?

  • They were out at this time.

  • okay

they lived or were they dead?

  • Cool!

  • hmm the water must have been cold and its an rough river

  • What is the name of that song that plays between video clips?

  • Do they have diving regulators on board of these boats?

  • Nice work! So much better the crew survived. If there had been any body's to take care of the boat can rot there that would have been my sentiment.I do understand these sports to a degree there's a lot of bond and kamraderie.

  • That's one way to catch steelhead.

  • great video, good job on the recovery!

  • I feel sorry for the fish - I bet it was thinking:

"Hey this is a GREAT place to live - I just got my own jetboat - wait 'till my girlfriend sees THIS!!"

and then suddenly you are back in the river, like all the other fish :-(

  • must be livin hell

  • Dumb comment.

  • Great job guys! Just goes to show that it doesnt matter if its water, dirt, road or air racers stick together.

  • How much does one of these boats cost?

  • the boats they used to recover go for around 40 to 80 thousand. im guessing that the race boat is about the same mabe a hair less

  • nice job

  • shut up i bet ur wondering that too

  • what i want to know r they dead

  • That's all the average youtube jackass wants to know.....

  • at 0:38 the guy says they are NOT dead so why would anyone be wondering if they are dead??

  • wel i didnt hear

  • no they did not die the pilot and navigator bailed right after it fliped about 300 yards up river. i was thereon the bridge

  • No you weren't, I didn't see you up there.

  • yeah cuz i seen u there, ass clown

  • Impossible, I was the only person up there.

  • ok i was just imagining things

  • very nice sled, excellent hull design, glad it was recovered.

  • very poorly ballanced though... look at the boats history it saw way to much sky to be a excellent design... if it flew flatter when leaving the water it may have fared better than to nose up multiple times when it jumped..

  • amazing that the hull wasn't damaged at all

  • Did they claim salvage ?

  • Great video, of some great men.. Living life to the max.

  • lol, 3:16. "and his peckers gone!"

  • bella cazzata

  • the crew isnt dead they got out like 5 sec after the crash and was saved by the recovery crew u can even hear uin the videos saying that he saw everyone was ok

  • good to hear that.

  • did the crew pass away?

  • if thats rc you can ride with it! no its not rc!

  • PMSL fucking big rc dont ay think

  • You ever finusg watching videos dumb shit

  • dam dude

  • Nothing better than a group of great people working together like this.Great job and thanks for posting.

  • OUtstanding vdieo!!! Great recovery effort.

  • Great video! Love the music.

  • his peckers gone! ! ! lol

  • FANTASTIC! I'm glad both pilot and copilot were ok and i loved all the racers and help shown in getting the boat back. That's what Racing is all about. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank god that nobody was hurt and the boat was recovered safely.

  • did they live?

  • in the first minute, you can hear a guy saying they were fine.

  • Kudos to all involved with the rescue! I used to have a boat with a hull very similar to that so I have sentiments for it over and above the usual.

It's a beautiful boat, much prettier than my solid red one.

  • Where is this river and what is the website for the river guide and such... If I wanted to take a tour of that river?? thanks! cool video! w

  • Great work there!!!!.

  • How much did you boat cost and what size is tht v8 your running?

  • This was a custom boat if memory serves me correctly it was around 20,000.00 and the motor in the boat is a small block chevy 350 ZZ4.

  • @racing16 That's a fine motor :D

  • Way to guy's guy's!!

  • ignition, hoses, and all liquid, and you're pretty much ok with most boat engines that get real wet like that.... pretty much. the crew that pulled that thing out of the water is crazy skilledand talented. that guy in the water securing lines has a crazy dangerous job, especially with all those bluecollars givin him such a hard time. way to go guys!

  • hey i can fix your boat engine

if you call me on youtube i can know how to fix engine can pull water out engine can start back alright XD im idea

  • After we drained the water/oil/fuel added new fuel and oil it cranked right up. Ran it at the next race with no problem ust had to replace the iginition was all. Thanks for the offer though:)

  • Did they die?

  • Nope just went for a long swim under the boat. A few more seconds and they might have though. Goes to show the saftey personell did their jobs.

  • Great vid thanks.

  • man thats a fucking crazy river :P

  • damn that sucks that was an awesome bot

  • Once a motor sink's it's never the same. You can empty the oil and drain the water and get it goin' but it's just never the same.

  • nonsense

  • Yep I agree Nonsence.

  • My boat sank at dock (ring failure on bait well hose) -- drained salt water out motor and flushed with oil, it ran just like before.

  • Great recovery

  • Damn... That is scary lol

  • Jesse, I'm glad you got her back! And that Dave and Lynn are both safe. Can we expect to see you all in Albany?

  • Great recovery video.

  • hahaha i dont think vince made that video. It was Chris.

  • Stevensons is right, I get that a lot, Nice to be compared to Vince though!!

  • Awsome Video Vince.Sucks about the boat but at least he got her back....

  • Sweet video, lets hope we see another Salmon river recovery vid soon

    cheers

  • Thanks Xero, Yeah lets hope for the best. IT Would be nice if the little blue boat made it back to the surface!
