Am I the only one who thinks this game just looks like an Asian attempt at imitating WoW?

I don't see anything new or even remotely interesting. A woman and some creatures that look a lot like WoW orcs.

The graphical design has a very similar cartoony style, although more beautiful.

That's ok with me. I just don't see what would be so exciting about it!?

Rereading my comment, I'm confused about your response.

I gave good reasons for my statement. Maybe you know more about the game than I do, but the trailer certainly makes it look very generic.

I have seen Asian MMORPGs that seemed to have a lot more interesting content/features.

PS:

Games set in a WW2 scenario (like CoD) are too generic for me.

Well, if americans were to stop focusing so hard on what they want and start trying newer things then maybe developers will be able to try out newer things. But the American gaming community is so picky that some developers are afraid to release certain games to the states because it will be a waste of money if the american consumers don't buy it. So until our community opens up to newer games, instead of standard FPS and action, then we might get more imports.

Actually, you never know what could bedone with american fantasy, hasn't really ever been a good western yet. Who knows what you could mod that into, haha or any of the wars or time periods.

FPS and action IS the new stuff when it comes to MMOs.  don't bring up Planetside and all the other lame SUPPOSED attempts to introduce some of that. none of them (and you're not likely to be able to name any i'm not familiar with) ever made a dent in the gaming world cuz all of them severely lacked.

@corpusc FPS and action the new stuff? hell no... they're are different categories of MMOs.. MMOFPS, MMORPG, MMORTS(these are the more popular ones), etc.... also, people don't create games to introduce new game styles, they create them so the players will have fun. its not a revolution here.

Publishers stick to the same old, not because the community doesn't accept new material, but because publishers are greedy. They see something they can milk money out of and continue doing so until people stop paying for it.

Many games prove that western people accept new concepts. Of course, new material has to be well presented & advertised. So sometimes you need to wrap the new stuff in an old coat.

Western people *accept* the same old.

They don't *demand* it!
