How did you get there? Over eating is a social disorder, if more Americans worship god they would not succumb to public pressures. Socialism encourages weakness in people. Religion encourages strength and personal responsibility; but how would you know? Your Canadian.

Not true. American Christians are just as fat as American atheists are; In fact, Christianity is the fattest religion in the world. America is predominately Christian, yet it's the fattest country on Earth.

I had the chance to visit a Southern Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, on a summer vacation. Well over half of the congregation was morbidly obese. Futhermore, well over 90% of the congregation was rude and scientifically illiterate.

Oh, and it's "you're", not "your".

Christianity has little to do with how fat and disgusting Americans are .The obesity of Americans is yet another example of how un-Christian people are.I don't care if they go to church everyday of their lives.Going to church doesn't make yo ua Christian following the words of Jesus does.And they are not just scientifically illiterate.Americans are illiterate in most everything except football,American Idol and porno. That's not what I said. They consider themselves Christian because their parents were Christian. But ask them about Jesus and most get uncomfortable and knwo little about what is in the bible. Americans are fat because they are weak. They completely ignore their responsibility and just consider their condition medical and can't help it. As far as "true" goes you're right, Christianity is exclusive, and only Jesus will decide who his followers are, not the other way around.

A "true" Christian never pushes his faith on other, we lead by example. Unfortunately many people will use any means t control others even twisting the very words of god. The US was build and prospered because of true Christians, we freed slaves , we ended the Indian wars we ended WW2. prosperity went to the heads of those with little understanding. Now we are where we are, only service to the lord can reverse the current course of the US.

I am absolutely sick of this "Christians only do good" garbage. There's no point in arguing with you if you can change the definition of "True Christian" at will. It's absolutely unfair, since you can just say that any Christian involved in something you dislike (slavery, war, genocide, etc.) is just a false Christian. Bullshit!

So where were all of these "true Christians" (who were apparently numerous enough to build America) during slavery?

think about it.about100 years ago people stopped living in drafty shacks and working hard. 100 years ago,there were harldy any fat people.Now, after the mechanization of industries, rapid industralization,people stopped working hard,and relaxed.why hunt when you can buy burgers everyday for 5$?we got office jobs.now 2/3 of americans are Obese.GOOD JOB AMERICAN ECONONMY!

So I cant tell people from experience how to loose weight but I think alot of people need to start to care about their health!
