man, that veiltail's tail is beautiful :) but as a sidenote, you really shouldn't put any gravel in the tank, the male will have a very hard time find the eggs... I like the plants though lol
oh, i think so. he's not retreiving them and putting them back up in the nest. i mean..he DID retreive them, but didn't go back up to the surface....=( aw...poor babies. but stuff like this happens, anyways.
that was really cool I am trying to breed my own bettas, I only had luck with a tank set up exactly like you with the plants and substrate but the water was a little lower, It is cool how you made it look like the actual place they would be in in the wild, looks really cool
In nature there is substrate and lots of plants..i know that intensive breeding is without plants and substrate but i wanted to do something more natural..and the water is less than 15cm high ;)
tight man, remind me of when i used too breed em in the caribbean in a more natural setting..may i ask what size tank is that?? n how warm da water was?
comunque bel video

Nice tank! I have five Bettas myself, their names are Polaroid, Kodachrome, Dr. Land, Nikon and Costello.

After the breeding what are you going to do with the female? What kind of filtering system did you use?

I only watched half of the video but already see something wrong... breeding veiltails >.<
and water is full, that makes daddy more stressed and harder for him to catch eggs.
There;s too many plants, daddy must feel like he's in a scavenger hunt!
You should never add substrate to spawning tank.

and why breeding veiltails is wrong? o_O
In nature there is substrate and lots of plants..i know that intensive breeding is without plants and substrate but i wanted to do something more natural..and the water is less than 15cm high ;)
