  • @guigs219 how about you look at other countries i.e Ireland England France etc all have some of the strictest gun laws in the world and in comparison to the US or Brazil they have almost no gun crime. brazil has a huge gun crime based off a huge drugs trade with the US and the rest of the world. Arming its citizens would in no way combat crime just provide another avenue for violence and gun crime. if you want to combat crime fund and actively support the police allowing them to combat crime

  • @Thedarkcountry the ignorant thing is that u r comparing this to a video game, who the hell cares about video game gun statistics, it's a video game for christ sake, for fun!

  • Hollywood Bob looks like the host of the show. Look at Bob mean muggin. I guess he should have stoped when he was told to. If he was sitting in the car right he would have reduced his silhouette and not got lit up as bad. How could you shoot an unarmed man. How rude.

  • 4;30-4:40 sight used on the gun changes, I think. Anyone else see this?

  • @Thedarkcountry i think you mean the UMP45? different gun

  • Im surprised that they made such a Crappy comparison of the takedown power of the MP5 and Kriss.

The location of the shot was different. Hitting the top of the target allows for an easier knockdown.

they should have known to hit the same place with both guns. Obviously the kriss is more powerful... But... run the experiment in a controlled manner please!

  • This is the strongest sub machine gun in Army of Two 40th Day and its bloody awesome.

  • at Combat arms this gun has ugly heavy recoil and realy low damage.... -.-

  • looks kind of like the pulse rifle from Aliens, except smaller and (probably) more efficient

  • @warpedwiselegoman The interesting thing about that is that the movie prop gun in Aliens was built around the old M1A1 Thompson, the grandfather of all .45 SMG´s

  • Bob the ballistic dummy is one though mother fucker...he never flinched, not even when his shades got knocked off...

  • @Thedarkcountry funny cos i love it.. and it is the most accurate weapon. (besides the laser gun acr)

  • the name taken fron INDONESIAN traditional sword, named KERIS

  • love the reload sound in mw 2 of this gun!

  • ok kids noone gives a fuck about your video games

  • @Thedarkcountry You're both right at wrong. UMP would be technicality better.. its pretty much a cross between an SMG and an assault riffle. However TDI's Vector would be a second, easily out-beating MP5K and the Mini-Uzi. However It might be able to tie with the P90 since the P90 uses rounds, just smaller of the actual 5.56.

  • Has anybody else noticed it's just a .45ACP handgun moved out completely in front of the grip so it could be lowered enough to put the muzzle fully in line with the butt?

  • He forgot to ask the engineer if it could eject an unfired round, or how to perform an immediate action drill that doesn't require stripping the mag.

  • 0:35 that he say, its rename with indonesian sword..??

    wow..!

  • does anyone else find it disturbing that he is shooting at a child sized target?

  • It is a good submachine gun, but these stats aren't completely accurate. Alright, with the 9mm shot it didn't go down, yes. But a bullet in the chest of an average person would instantly knock him down, no matter what calibre. Also, why is is that the steal target goes down on a single shot, but takes a full magazine to knock down on full auto? Also, it must take a LOT of modifying to make that thing go 1,500 RPM. A Miro-Uzi only goes 1,200 and last I checked it was the fastest subgun currently.

  • @MikeNepo Check again. It does what it's built to do and it just came out a couple years ago. There aren't any modifications but there is a built-in adjustment for the rate of fire. If you don't believe me check out the vid "KRISS Super V - Wins Best Close Quarter Combat Weapon." The SWAT operator reviewing it says he fired it at 1500 RPM but then cranked it back down 1100. Firearms manufacturers these days can rarely get away with inaccurate stats.

  • can the .45 acp round penetrate soft body armor?

  • @ExtremeNinjaPanda : Unless there's ceramic or other type of plating, you'll feel the trauma. You just won't bleed out.

  • @ExtremeNinjaPanda when your bullet is thinner like a seven five ! they will penetrate all ! speed en not so heavy bullet will penetrate

  • @ExtremeNinjaPanda will not make it through level III but will penetrate everything under. Even Level IIIA it might not make it through but the energy transference might be enough to kill. Level IIIA and below is soft kevlar or some kind of plastic weave stronger than kevlar. 1414 compound or something. Level III and IV are are poly ceramic plates thats stronger than kevlar that can stop an armor piercing 308 round but will fail against at .50 cal.

  • @Thedarkcountry Dispite they messed up the damage, the firerate replaces it. I still prefer the vector then the ump45.

  • got to shoot one of these at Knesek Guns' range, it was awesome

  • at least all the COD comments stopped

  • TDI Keris Super Vector

    LaughOutLoud HAHAHAHAAA :D

  • @guigs219 why don't you take a look at Europe, guns have never been legal here. compare its crime statistics to the US'

anyone with a gun is a potential murderer

  • @gadgou2 Yeah, I compared, and most European countries have slightly more violent crime per capita than the USA. Except the UK (including England specifically), which has significantly tighter gun regulations than France, Italy, etc., and MUCH HIGHER violent crime rates than continental Europe and the USA. And also except Switzerland, which gives a full auto assault rifle to every male citizen, and has much LESS crime than the USA.

  • @gadgou2 What are on about? A lot of european countries allow people to have guns, but are somewhat regulated. For fuck sakes, Czech republic allows people to conceal handguns.

  • you on about**

  • @unknown1730 I'm talking about west european countries. The Netherlands for instance, guns are illegal here and lethal gun crimes are very rare.

  • @gadgou2 "Only citizens who are hunters, members of shooting sports clubs or legitimate collectors may obtain licenses for firearms. In the case of shooting club members they will get a license for category III weapons (a firearms category which includes all non- full automatic firearms up to .50 cal.). Possession is generally limited to 5 firearms per license. Collectors may obtain a license for any category of firearm, including full automatic arms,"

Doesn't look like they have "banned" guns

  • @unknown1730 And that is quoted from wiki regarding Netherlands gun laws.

  • @unknown1730 the current rules seem effective, as the number of lethal accidents caused by firearms is low.

  • @gadgou2: Paranoid, are you? Anyone with a knife, baseball bat, crow bar, hammer, etc., etc. is a potential murderer. It's not the weapon, but the person, and if that person is intent on killing someone not having a gun won't make a bit of difference.

  • @monoblocks please stop comparing knives etc. (weapons with which you need extraordinary power and determination to be able to cause a lethal hit to someone) with a weapon that kills with a simple movement of a finger.

  • @guigs219 you should always support gun control. You shouldn't support gun BANS. I think guns need more control so we're not giving them to psychos. I totally support having a weapon to defend yourself. But I also support having regulation to CONTROL who gets to have those weapons. If it wasn't for gun CONTROL, then every psycho that wanted to could go out and have a weapon.

  • looks like the Vector

  • @AlveNicaBoy I think it is the vector or a variation of it.

  • @TheReviewerMan it is the vector just the actual name of it

  • indonesian sword?...its a dagger

  • A few things I did notice on this...while I know the .45 is a bigger round then the 9mm, the target was also hit in different areas (.45 hit in the head, the 9mm below the neck--once again, not a huge deal, but the 9mm moved the target, if it was placed in the same area as the .45 it may have also). Next, when Mack is firing the KRISS, the optics go from what appears to be an aimpoint to an eotech, and then back and forth again...bad editing. OR maybe he couldn't hit the target w aimpoint.

  • @patrolmankato

lol, i didnt notice that. but i did notice that before he fires the mp5 there's no blemishes on the target, then when he fires the KRISS there are 5 blemishes (not counting the head shot)

  • @patrolmankato lol, i didnt notice that. but i did notice that before he fires the mp5 there's no blemishes on the target, then when he fires the KRISS there are 5 blemishes (not counting the head shot). also, it's pretty stupid of them to show the knockdown power of a .45 acp with a headshot. if you shoot someone in the head with a 9mm, they're just as dead as they'd be from a .50 bmg

  • @OhshitPositive yeah but not as much brain matter on the walls lol

  • GENIUS!!

  • For all of the mw2 idiots! The smg is called the KRISS not vector alrite? I love the game but I hate when they switch up the fucking names!!

  • @pringles509 I hate to be the one who tells you guys this but it is called the vector. Well its the KRISS Vector SMG. Check the Kriss-TDI product page.

  • @pringles509 I would post the link but youtube wont let me.

  • Awesome

  • Its really called the TDI Vector.

  • @000000t

No it's not, dumbass. Where'd you get that from?? It's name is the "KRISS .45ACP sub-machinegun".

  • @ERRORcode901 vector is the name of the family of submachine guns that use the .45 ACP. Kriss is the name of the mechanism used to reduce recoil

  • Why is it called "Vector" on MW2?

  • @guigs219

    "Freeze! Put DOWN the sergeant!"

  • @guigs219

You'll carry a cop on your belt?

  • This show is hilariously overdramatic. The fake gunshot sound effects make it so much better.

  • What a great SMG..

    why its name is kriss?

    because im Indonesian..

    hahahha

  • kriss = vektor????

  • God damn I'd like to shoot that gun. Too bad I live in Sweden :/

  • Why 45, here's why.

  • The Indonesians would be prod XD

  • Looks big as a wardrobe.

  • @guigs219

Don't support gun control? You mean you don't support firing on target accurately with every round fired? That's the only gun control I support :)!

  • Fucking ugly eh? lol.

  • love this vidio got my name in it twise kriss and thompson

  • i'm proud being indonesian........ Kriss is the indonesian traditional sword........ woohoo.....

  • @prajamudakucing actually it is a dagger, believed to be inhabited by spirits.

  • @An0niempje yeah... sorry for my languange...... kriss is made by meteor.

  • this gun is in crossfire. :)

  • What a beautiful baby, Im from Costa Rica and here we can get only semi-automatic pistols, cal 12 shotgun and hunting rifles :s.

If I lived in USA is sure I will purchase lots of sub machineguns and assault rifles...

  • @asgaardknight, You need A LOT of money and paperwork to get submachine and assault rifle in the USA. You're pretty much limited to buying semi automatic only versions of these guns if you are a civilian.

  • @esh325, Thanks man, I didnt know that, but lamentably buy those kinds of guns here is still forbidden..

  • on every "gun vid." people talk about fps games!!!!! stop it, but the worst of all is mw2!!!

  • are there any configurations that allow for greater range out of the Kriss, and does the fact that it is a 45 round affect accuracy in general over a distance. im new to guns so go easy on me

  • they ruined this gun on MW2

  • in a hand gun i think the difference between a 9mm and a 45 acp is a huge difference, and in a hand gun i would much rather have a 45 acp. however in a submachine gun where you are going to have like 3 or 4 bullets in a guy i think there isnt much of a difference. all in all i would rather have a mp5 because it has been tried by almost every army out there.

  • to me the bigger round mean more lethality i rather it take one shot than two 4 inchs is not that much if i punch you in stomach and then i hit yu in the chest it not going to be that much of a diffrence it still has to has to move the same mass. the m9 still wowould not make it fall down if it hit it in the head

  • "Bob looks a little suspicious. Lets see if he still wants to be a smartass when i pump some lead in that fucker. "I told him to stop bein suspicious but he just wouldnt listen."

  • At 1:00, oh yeah?! EHK! You are wrong again "MACH"..............everybody and everything needs divine intervention......

If you don't believe me go read "THE HOLY BIBLE"...lol!!!!

  • the host looks like mr. clean.

  • @redsarge15 only this mr cleans packin heat

  • THIS IS SO FUCKING BS. When the 9mm round is fired, it hit's the metal person's right shoulder. When the .45 caliber is fired, it hits straight in the head. The shot is about 4 inches higher, therefore knocking it down. I say that was a complete BS test. go back to video if you don't believe me

  • @allentam911

It'd called momentum. The 45.ACP is a bit slower but twice as heavy.

  • @fullthrottleK5

A .50BMG will remove limbs or with a couple hits cut a human in two but blow someone up? That's stretching it. As a heavy machine gunner I can tell you it's fucking awesome to get revenge via .50BMG.

    Semper Fi

  • Did anyone else notice they kept switching sights?

  • As Al Capone once said, "You can more with a kind word, and a submachine gun, than you can with just a kind word." Or as a cop said when he witnessed the results of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, "Yeeeecccchhh!"

  • I am SO glad the COD faggots aren't on here because they don't know the real name of the Criss, they all assume its called the 'vhektor' or w/e

  • i heard this gun jams alot and doesnt work right...but i like that it uses the 45 acp ..its the same round i use in my glock 21.

  • The only reason there is that much muzzle climb with the UMP is because a 100 pound girl is the one shooting it.

  • i love this guy's intense voice.

"the bigger the round.... the bigger the knockdown power......"

  • God i really hate Mac's commentary it seems to me hes acting all tough shit its quite annoying. But what he says is quite interesting its just the way he says it.

  • I think Mac is a bit wrong on things. The tommy gun weighed over 11 pounds, all the weight would actually make the recoil a lot less. 1500 RPM on the Kriss is too excessive.

  • Why didnt they just put it in 9mm too, that way itll give even less recoil lol

  • i dont mind this gun, needs a slower rate of fire so it does not chew through so many mags, but overall it is a really cool design, be cool to use thing tech in a rifle or shotgun just to see how well it would work

  • putting more lead on target that also means wasting more ammo

  • @masterkorn LOL what? Remember that the 'target' sometimes shoots back

  • which is exactly why you wouldnt want to waste ammo, 1500 rpm gun shoots 30 rounds in about 2 to 3 seconds. "oh shit i have to reload".

  • @masterkorn not if those rounds are accurate

  • Twisting the thruth and hype the weapon. The other gun hits the matal figure in the shoulder and Kriss to the head. Of course Kriss knocks the figure over because the hit is more up. And it does not matter - both shots would have been lethal anyway. And most bullets go through car door - even my hunting bow would kill the guy in the car. And Kriss seems to spread the hits all over the the car door so it's not that accurate that they claim.

  • rip off of the jati-matic

  • Plus, what's so great about having a 1500 rounds/minute fire rate? It's not that big, plus, you don't need that big of a fire rate, or you'll empty your mag before you've cleared the area!

  • I'd love to go up against anyone armed with one of these Kriss guns, if I get a P90. That's 5.7 mm and it will still cut through anything just as good as .45, with a lot less recoil.

  • actually the .45 has almost no penetration

  • @inkbot2000 that's because of the shape of the bullet, a 9mm has more penetration with less kinetic energy.

  • actually it's more the velocity than the shape

  • @morthyr Actually, it has to do with what the bullet is made of. A fully jacket bullet (lead core, copper jacket) has much more penetrating power than a unjacketed bullet, because it doens't lose as much energy through deforemation. This also means it doesn't wound as well though. Some bullets have hard steel cores to penetrate armour.

  • @ARM02 yes but in the case of a 9mm fmj and a .45 acp fmj the 9mm will have more penetrating simply because it has more velocity

  • @inkbot2000 Didn't see your comment :P

Material and velocity are the main factors though :)

The cross-sectional area probably has an effect.

@morthyr: 9mm bullets have more kinetic energy than .45s at the muzzle, because the KE is a square of the velocity times half the mass, so faster bullets have exponentially more energy.

.45s generally have more killing power.

  • reminds me of the ppsh

  • wish i lived in america get fucking guns lol u get a bb gun in england uve got the bloody armed response unit on ur ass

  • @Dicidar400

    Same in NZ mate haha

  • @Dicidar400 you've all turned commy........come over to your cousins country.

  • @Dicidar400 Gun bans keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, yet criminals who really want a gun always seem to know where to find them.

  • @imsiriustube its called black market?

  • @imsiriustube

Hell, look at Chicago. They banned handgun ownership and there was almost zero change in gun crime.

The ban was overturned, but the new gun regulations are a de facto ban. Like all Chicago firing ranges are police-only, so you have to go out of the city to take the mandatory 4-hour course and hour on the range to own a handgun.....but you can't leave the inside of your house with a handgun. You have to break the law to follow the law.

  • @Dicidar400 That is why I am so glad that great grand daddy did not miss the boat!

  • @Dicidar400

    Indeed guns are win!

  • @Dicidar400 that sucks!

  • Does stopping power really count for head shots? I don't care what gun your using, a shotgun, 9mm pistol, or a .45 you shoot some one in the head, they are going down...

  • Shoots the mp5 at the torso, then the Kriss/Vector at the top of the target, and wonders why it goes down much easier (i know the .45 has more power than the 9mm, but that's not really an accurate test..)

  • Yeah, everything he says is pretty much horseshit.

The round would have around 20% more mechanical advantage that much further up.

It's also not very accurate. A car door's worth of spread from ~15 yards when using 5 round bursts? That is awful.

Most bullets will penetrate both doors of a car.

They made the barrel really short...why not just attach a stock to a glock? Could have made a super-compact weapon by moving the body back into the shoulder.

Bullets don't knock people down. Ever.

  • bullets don't knock down people!? I guess you haven't fired a 30mm machinegun

  • @inkbot2000 Haha, you define that as a bullet?Iwould call that a small shell

  • @ARM02 not if you're firing ap or training rounds

  • a 30mm bullet would almost blow someone up it wouldnt "knock em down"

  • a 50 cal will blow someone up.... im sure a 30 mm would disintegrate them......

  • @fullthrottleK5 actually a 50 cal will not really blow someone up

  • Yeah actually it kinda will. Shoot a leg, boom, its gone.

  • @Tboyish well if you look at the military section of the mythbusters forums, one of the permanent treads disproves all of those myths

  • also, what are ballistics of the .45 like? The bullet went straight through the door and the dummy leaving a small hole, i thought the idea was to tear it up inside for better stopping power, not to go straight through..

mp5 is good for Close quarter combat because it wont go through the target, and continue through the 30 civilians standing behind them, different guns for different jobs, don't know why hes acting like everyone's gonna ditch their mp5 for this.. not that its bad or anything..

  • actually it is the opposite, the .45 has much less penetration than the 9mm, at over 35 meters, a .45 cannot penetrate a steel helmet and at over 100 meters the 9mm can penetrate it

  • @inkbot2000 thts nt true dik gt ur facts ryt about guns first the .45 has mre kinetic energy thn the 9mm an there fore more penetrative force do the math fag

  • no, why do you think that many level 3A bulletproof vests can stop a 12ga slug, but not a 5.56mm round. the slug has more energy, but the 5.56mm round has more velocity, giving it more penetrating power

  • @inkbot2000 This is true, bigger the round, the more hit it has, but less penetration. Unless it's a 50 cal, only because those fuckin' bullets have like 200+ grain in them though.

  • also spelling is an important skill, if you had learned to spell I could have read that in 10 seconds, instead I had to decode your crap

  • @NorthKoreanNuke Well.. a 9 mil will go through a lot more then you think, we use hollow tips so the bullets shred what's in the target, and if it goes through both sides, it wont be strong enough to kill the person behind it. It's safer, a FMJ 9mil is gonna go through a 2 people pretty well before spinning.

  • I agree with the last comment he made... Terrorists watch out!

  • Watch from 4:00.

They say the KRISS Super V System is great because of the kinetic energy.

But notice what the mp5 does. You see the target moving and only one bullethole. Then when he shows the KRISS Super V System you see like 6 shots allready in the target claiming it was his first shot. I think it just didn't top the target the first 5 times.

  • lmao fuck black water they shot at my friend on active duty and his team fucking killed like 4-5 of the basterds

  • Every comment on every gun-related video:

"OMG I <3 tHis gunz in (popular fps atm) I wnat to buy it where i can buy wone i must kno!!!!11!!!!1!"

"Shut up kid go fight a real war, war isn't a game"

    "I love this gun"

    "I hate this gun"

There. Now can we please stop posting the same 4 comments on every single gun video and just watch it? Thanks. Also, thanks to the few of you posting something intelligent.

  • they need to put this system in shotguns and heavy machine guns

  • They have. However it's not in the middle where the Kriss has it. It's in the butt stock. Blackhawk has made the same concept design but placed it in the butt stock. I only have seen it for shotguns though. Saw it at the Shot Show 2010 video Nutnfancy made.

  • LilATL94: AHMEN!

  • Muthaf#%&ing idiots. Go shove up your stupid COD. War is not a videogame. COD is for jack#%&es who don't know s#%& about the military and war. They call it the Vector when its real name is the KRISS.

COD players just all of a sudden become wannabe military experts. They are idiots. Heck do they know what FMJ or TMJ mean? I don't think so.

Go outside and get a life and do something instead of playing crappy MW2.

Why not shoot some actual weaponry instead and see for yourself.

    Semper Fi.

  • Actually dumbass, it IS called the Vector. The KRISS Super V was its prototype name. Don't diss if you're the one that doesn't know shit all.

  • I really wish they'd make one in 9mm that takes either HK or Glock mags. 9mm is so much more affordable to shoot than .45ACP..

    That would be the shizzle!!!

  • What do you do when you have a submachine gun but your up against a well trained sniper?

  • Piss your pants. Well thats what I would do.

  • HEADSHOT! 4:40

  • It's kind of weird how the gun constantly switches from having a Holographic sight and an ACOG.

  • looks like a vector sub machine gun with 45 rounds

  • because the KRISS is the vector.

  • I believe KRISS is the name of the recoil absorption system. Vector is the name of the weapon.

  • yeah you're right, but it's confusing because they interchange the name alot on this episode.

  • 9mm rounds dont do shit,... Ive seen people get shot in the face and still walking around,... a .45 hits you in the face,... no response,... d.u.n... DONE! this is f*ing revolutionary man,... especially if youre the sap kicking down a door!

  • @tj2006080589

    9mm, 115 grain hollow point +P+ @ 1,430 ft/s delivers 704 joules of energy. 45 ACP, 200 grain hollow point +P @ 1,080 ft/s delivers 702 joules of energy.

Care to get into DRT and other frangible rounds?

  • if you get hit in the face with a .22, your dead, if a larger caliber hits you in the face your extra dead

  • @weerd2normal if your like 40-50 yards away, the bullet will hurt you but I'm not sure if it will completely penetrate bone at that distance, maybe a .22 centerfire round. Not a rimfire, to few grains the bullet drops like 6 inches at 100 yards. That's a lot of lost power.

  • @weerd2normal P.S. unless you hit the eye socket, but that wont be pretty for any weapon to hit. including a KA-BAR >.>

  • must be heavy.

  • To me, the 9mm is plenty enough for the job. Mac's test is complete bullshit. He hits lower on the targer when he's shooting the MP5, but hits higher when he's shooting the Kriss. His test does not prove anything about the lethality of both rounds.

  • Actually, what he just proved was that obviously the 9mm didn't take down the target in a single shot. Also, considering the MP5 has terrible accuracy. Especially against the KRISS. The 9mm is pathetic against a .45. They even say the 9mm can get the job done, but the .45 is way more efficient.

  • He shot higher with the Kriss then MP5 so the test is rig. He could easily knock down the plate had he just shot higher. Anyhow, it's a dumb test. Bullets can't knock people down. If the bullet could knock you down, then so could the gun recoiling into your shoulder. Elementary science right there. Your information is false, the MP5 is accurate enough for a submachinegun. A more valid test would be shooting into ballistic gelatin.

  • your mistaken, the mp5 is a very accurate weapon

  • Man you could shoot a coin at 100 meters with an mp5 for what i have heard. But in this vids they try to make it look like these new guns are realy revolutionary. It just sucks

  • it would be a tough shot but yeah. all they need to do to control the recoil of the .45 is to make the fron of the weapon heavier, or make a compensator, dont spend millions of dollar on weapon research when you could screw a 50 dollar compensator on front

  • @esh325 XD....ROTFLMAO!!!!

  • @esh325 The MP5 is enough no doubt, but it wouldn't penetrate a car door.

  • @RobOscarMike, How do you know it can't penetrate a car door?
