  • Really good, better than having all these interesting photos stuck in a photo album where NO ONE sees them, thanks for sharing.

I would like to do the same sometime. Cheers Del, Isle of Wight (ex London, and Port Isaac))

  • @deliow Thanks Del. Kind comments. ;0)

  • I think that the creation of a slideshow coupled with great, atmospheric music, really displays these wonderful historic photos to their best effect. I'm sure that there are many Western National enthusiasts who will be delighted that they found this. Very well done!

  • well said island traction, i for one have found this video most enjoyable. it brings back fond memories of happy sunny holidays as a child, in the lovely west country. oh happy days....................

  • I can't see the point of uploading stills to a video website. Wouldn't it be better to create a website with the stills on it rather than post up a slideshow?

  • Well it doesn't really matter to me whether YOU can see the point or not.

The fact is a number of people have enjoyed this, so if you'd rather not look then feel free to do you know what ?

  • Bristol Lodekka LDLs VDV 752 and VDV 753 remain in service with Quantock Motor Services. If you want to ride on them, check out the Service 400 "Exmoor Explorer" which runs from Minehead seafront every weekend through the summer.

  • @steamchest24 My goodness,those 2 buses must be 50+ years old now

  • The three WN videos are excellent. I shall return to them again and again as I love to see these lovely old buses, especially Lodekkas which are my favourite type of bus. Thank you so much for sharing these.

  • Fabulous music!

  • Thanks, I wanted to give the video a bit of gravitas! The 1st piece is Agnus Dei performed by the National Youth Choir of GB and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The 2nd is The Moldau by Smetana and played by Catrin Finch.

  • great pics and a nice bit of music to !! 5 *'s
