@TheVictoriaCatalina It will work , the quality of the videos are really nice , but if you are trying to do tutorials while zooming in and out , it wont stay in focus . I would say try getting a camcorder because its so easier to work with , but it cost more . Its your choice , but this is a good alternate (:

hi i just bought this camera from ebay, I am taking videos on the highest resolution with a class 4 micro sd card they look just fine when I play them back on the camera but when I transfer them to my computer they are ver choppy. anybody has the same problem, i really like the camera but this is annoying.

i was looking at some other camera's and they dont offer the feature of zooming in during video nor does the quality of the video compare to this one! but is there other cameras that carry this feature that are around the same price? LOL

@broadwayman850 It is because the optical zoom apparently makes noise while zooming, so the mic is disabled to eliminate the sound the zoom is making.

Personally I think it should be an option that you can disable; I think it's annoying to hear what's going on, and then hear absolutely nothing while zooming.

the sound cuts out when you zoom because the zoom motor makes too much sound. Samsung purposely cut out the sound. Most point and shoots dont even have zoom while recording video just because of this sound the motor makes.

Yea, it automatically mutes so the zooming/focus sound won't be heard.

@kasnohp I'm not sure if the battery life is good on the TL220 but I've seen a review for the TL225 and they were saying that the battery can go for days so it shouldn't be a problem.

I just purchased this from amazon solely based on the video quality. I havent gotten it yet thought. I just don;t like the muting thing when zooming in and out. It seems annoying. But that's something I can live with if the quality is this good.

hey what setting on the camera did you use in the video? 1280 HQ, 1280, 640, or 320 cause it said use 320 for internet videos.

yeah it does! i have the tl 225...it sucks when it does that but other than that, the quality is really nice. but the file is also an mp4, kinda hard to edit it...unless u know how to convert it

wow beautiful quality video man. Dissapointed to hear it that thte front LCD doesn't work with shotting video. I was going to buy the camera for that feature alone for shooting vids for youtube to make sure I was in the frame etc...
